Let you know if I can get one or???
I probably can get one. Dave a nearby sales guy does volume on these like 10 or more monthly. I asked him once for one, took him maybe two weeks when no one else had any, but I purchased my current one during that time.
I'll make a call tomorrow. If so and around that price I stated, you're good? So I don't stir up the dust and then no play.
So, I guess the best way is to decide what you are willing to pay, I'll go to the guys and then I'll just handoff and you'll work with them. Strictly a favor thing, I am not in sales...
Sounds good, yes 70 sounds good just unsure of delivery fees. Where about is this so I can figure driving to get it. I’ll text you.

You will just love that SVL-97

BTW, 95 is same with an older DEF system.

97 is a newer 95 with a working DEF system, a back up camera (That I NEVER use, and some telemetry thing that can communicate with an app to tell you what's going on with it
Hey how’s ya been? Been a long time since we talked. I heard you got one and are loving it. I’m excited to check stock in LA tomorrow and will make the drive if they have one. Otherwise I’ll settle for a cab tractor for now if they have one and trade in or sell mine.  After going self employed I need to always keep a avenue for money flow and a skid is way more able then a tractor at that I feel. I wish I could pull off getting a excavator also but that’s pushing a little much for right now.

The emissions will fall off of the skid almost day one as well.
I'd be interested in the price out there. I paid $70,500 for mine but got a friggin ton on trade in on the 95, $54,700!!! I paid right at $60 for the 95 and it could have sold the same day, but the Kubota dealership needed one as a lot forklift thing. I believe the machine class is one of the most useful pieces of construction equip ever made and the Kubota with its unbelievable quality, warranty and price is a good candidate for being the #1 in the herd. You'll love everything about it except for the ride and how quick the hydraulics respond when you are full throttle. If you are lowering a load and don't get out of it it will go full down so fast and with such force that it flips the thing up in the air a bit. Ya, you won't like that. So be careful on cross slopes with it unless you like gymnastics!
And, consider buying one in the mid west and shipping it...
Thanks, I’ve called a dozen dealers only to be told out of stock and there’s a waiting list.
Same here. I can get you one (I think)...have some connections
Let me know, I’m unsure of the transportation fee but can’t hurt.

Firearms / Glock 22 gen 3 or 4
« on: December 06, 2021, 05:13:55 AM »
Ok boys. I ordered a G22 gen 3. Specifically because I believe the gen3 to be the best generation all around and of the dozen or so glock I own they are all gen 3 meaning parts interchange and gunsmith familiarity.

I’m now questioning whether they can produce said gen3 and they have a gen4 in stock.

Should I hold out or get the bastard child of some marketing guys dream who said they needed “updates” to sell more product?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just saying I love the gen 5’s. I took some gen 4 and 5 to the range a while back and 5 is nice. Lmk and we can go test them in comparison. Also lmk which model you want and my LE dealer can get it or possibly has it.

Don probably doesn’t use the backup camera since he already ran it over with his bush hog. The app would work great if he could find his phone(probably sitting in pieces below the sawmill.   We already saw that he tried to treat that SVL like Tex would a zero turn mower.

Sure is a clean dodge !!

We have a large number of people here in Utah who have these skids and mini x’s and the local adds with them for rent Also,  they will deliver and so forth to your location.    I talked to one of the owner guys and he was telling me he makes enough renting it out to cover about half his loan which seemed interesting enough.

Not that I would rent out my equipment but an idea for sure

Thanks, not going to rent it out but will definitely do the job for people. Plenty of land work around me to pay for the machine at least

That Titan is money well spent.

Looking at skid steers?..or a different kind of svl

I'm keeping my eyes open for one locally but most are 30k plus. I'm not serious enough for 30k
Yes the titan is bad a$$ it’s my third titan tank to own in trucks.

Yes Svl97-2 skid steer. Plan to start making some money with side jobs with it vs renting equipment. And super handy to have around the property.

Seems like some well thought out and smart mods.

Head studded...Impressive

Deleting the tree hugger stuff: Smart
Thanks, The studs were a must, went with the strong arp aged 625+ studs.

Also used alfaobd to set the tank size to read dte properly, fog lights stay on with high beams, disabled drl’s, and a few other tweaks.

And installed a garmin 67 dash cam with the wiring all hidden in the rear view mirror covering.

And tossed some subs in the back behind the seat and can still recline the back seats fully.( which if you install subs in these newer trucks you have to disable the noise cancellation which is unpinning a few wires under the dash)

Added a bed matt, and weather tech rear floor matt.

I’m sure I’m leaving out some things I’ve done.

To come: lift 6” or level 3/1, 40” or 38” tires. Ccv reroute( unsure to just gut the filter and run the vent out the tailpipe or to get a new valve cover and then run it out the back.

These days modifying your intake amounts to taking off the air filter and a couple air pipes...

It used to mean doing some real wrenching. Removing a cast iron or inefficient aluminum design and replacing with a new Edelbrock piece. Getting coolant spilled everywhere, scraping gaskets, torquing real bolts.

I recently noted that the wrists of these latest "pretty men" could be severely damaged (Slight pain the next morning) by torquing bolts over 25 ft lbs. I heard the severe soreness caused several of these FM (Feminine men) or girly men (GM) to miss the hole in their ears with the stud (Which they are not, actually more like drones in a bee hive) when putting in their earrings, causing a slight abrasion, or in severe cases an actual puncture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Devastating, I know!

In one case there was a drop of blood seen which caused the unsuspecting and suffering GM to faint, falling on his man-bun and wrinkling that all up.

Guys these days...Just give me my dogs and bypass, please!

Don’t waste the money on a intake setup. It does nothing but makes noise on the Jeep. The factory box with a upgraded filter is all you need. If you want more power or mpg put a Sprintex supercharger on it. You won’t regret it.

Ken needs to elaborate?   Tec hasn’t changed? Physics still say the front brakes need the stopping weight

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What’s to elaborate? It’s kinda the same theory as using your foot brake on your dirt bike. It would appear the manufacturers are proportioning them heavier to the rear. My thinking though it’s more the computer and stability control doing this....
And

The rear pads are tiny as compared to the fronts, maybe half the surface area. Also the rear rotors are solid and skinny, about 1/2" thick whereas the front brakes are still ventilated discs with much larger calipers.

I think the rears are just designed not to be able to stop very much...???

Mopar bbk. Don’t look at anything else. It’s complete with  bigger master cyl, booster, rotors, calipers, pads.

I suggest ditching the factory pads for power stop believe it’s z series but I’ll have to look( it’s the ones for towing).

This setup stoped and held off-road mine with 40”s with plenty of confidence.

Definitely, now a durabird build would be nice.  For what I grabbed this excursion for and what I have in it though I couldn’t touch a durabird, although most can’t do everything no labor cost.

I worked on a fleet of 300ish 6.0’s and 7.3 ps’s and then 6.4’s for 7 years and swore I would never own one.  But with all the newer diesels and when you consider what’s needed to make one solid it is not bad considering.

I had no issues, just wanted to stud it, new injectors, updated rockers, branch tubes and adaptors, blue spring kit, new oil cooler, odawgs intake, full egr cooler delete, up pipes, 4”dp, new seals and gaskets almost everywhere, new ipr, misc new sensors, injector harness, tensioner, belt, fan clutch, etc  the list goes on

Today I put a aux fan for the condenser, wired up a relay and fuse utilizing the factory up fitter switch wiring, I’ll take a picture tomorrow and post it up

On order is sinister coolant degas bottle, battery terminals and wires to beef up the battery/charging system wiring and correct some worn out crappy factory ones.

I’m blessed to be able to do all myself as 25k is crazy, maybe I’ll advertise, a few studding jobs and I can buy a new zr1 cash

Looking at a Steyr aug or Daniel defense ar,

Of the 2, the DD for the ability to find parts. In a perfect world where I'd be able to find anything Steyr AUG, just because I've liked them for awhile. Bullpup takes a some getting used to. What do you want to use it for? So I can think of other suggestions.

Bobby should be dropping by shortly just mention “breakfast and hot sauce” and he’ll magically appear it seems.....

I would get his take, he seems to be the go to around here for best bang for your buck and he likes high end rifles.

You rang? I like high end rifles, however I can only stare and dream.

sriracha not hot sauce.....

Correct I have some standards.

If you want bang for your buck, Bobby directed me to Integrity Arms for my first AR and I am super happy with it. I whacked a full beer at 300m, first shot down at Don’s farm using only an unmagnified red dot sight.  Justin there will help you out and answer all your questions with possible options for your build.

I pass on what I can find.

7mm round is stupid slick

I like 7mm Mag and 30.06

Thanks Bobby, I’ve decided to go with a gap-10 in 308.

Well I ended up replacing the aux condenser as the expansion valve was seized to it.  Pressures look good, I will check it again tomorrow probably just to verify. Note to self the main blower fan spins the opposite way as the aux fan, not sure how some manufacturers say they are the same.

Yeah, I bought 2 gap bolt guns when I was competing, thinking ultimate accuracy was king, when in reality what I learned in competition was that rapid follow ups and rounds on target from 700 and in were much more important  than the extra edge I had from 700-1200 with the bolt guns.

I had a San Antonio SWAT team guy burst my bubble on the 500 yard moving target when I thought I rocked the stage by scoring 7 hits (best of all the bolt gunners) when he stepped up and rang the bell 11 times.....

Just my opinion, but if you don’t on an accurate AR10 I would start there and then make the bolt gun a 338 Lapua or 375 Cheytac.  That will fill the spectrum nicely.

I always have plans I’m kicking around but as soon as I build/buy an AR pistol I’m going to start looking at 338 lapua or 375/408 cheytac, assuming I can hide 12k from the wife or be willing to live with the consequences....

Well I started with a stock 05 excursion with sagging leaf springs and multiple oil leaks, broken injectors etc.

Now I’ve since studded it, new injectors, all new moog steering system, new gear box, new glow plugs, glow plug harnesses, injector harness, new oil cooler, no egr cooler or valve, ficm flashed, sct tunes, 4” downpipe and full exhaust, bds 8” lift, all fluids flushed, new calipers and brakes all around, steel braided lines, sulastic shackles front and rear, led headlights and dogs, updated mirrors, deep cleaned the inside, worked the exterior some, fresh undercoating, metal driver side cooler pipe vs the factory plastic, 40” maxxis m/t, ceramic tint, back up lights under the body, afe intake with sock, etc.

Next projects are: coil spring front end, cb/ham setup install(already have it from the Jeep build), full new a/c, fan clutch(probably doing this weekend), new radio with front and rear cameras, install the winch.
