Lot of Marines having cake today...all across the globe.  And it all started with battling Muslims off the Barbary Coast...

I'll never forget their birthday, as it is mine as well. My uncle served in Vietnam through several tours and sadly didn't make it past my 3rd birthday. (succumbed to PTSD in '83 and became a sad statistic.) Thank you all, past present and future.
