Darwin Awards on Twitter
« on: February 23, 2016, 07:40:30 PM »
I am not sure how many of you are on Twitter (And as an aside it is a pretty good medium for getting caught up to date on fast changing current events). But it also can provide some fun....which is why I mention the Darwin Awards. We all know what that is....the "award" given to the person who does the best job of perpetuating the gene pool by removing him or herself from said gene pool by some ridiculously stupid act that kills them and hence increases the "value" of the herd. Now this twitter feed does not go that far (they don't limit themselves to those who died with their stupid actions) but its fun (and cringeworthy) at the same time.

Here's an example....and I have to say this caught my eye for a whole BUNCH of reasons....not the least of which was "hmmm....that could'a been me...." so its not all bad idiotic stuff. I find myself half the time saying "well when I did that I had a better result!" ha!  :o

Anyhoo....for anyone who has an interest:

No Twitter, facebook, myspace or whatever.

Now a link to something good is always fun to watch.

Sad, but Forrest Gump had a saying for that.

That link above for the Darwin clips are taking up way to much time, but I am loving it.

I'll have to check that out.  Twitter is, like you said, probably the best place for fast moving news stories.  I'm on it constantly when there is a big situation going down.  Bundy ranch, Baltimore riots etc.

Only one thought

Which one is the most stupid

Guy flying too close to the ground

Or the guy trying to stop wings and propellers with his forehead!

Darwin award candidate right there!
