Beautiful scenery Shawn.
Not on a well but will be in retirement. Plus solar. Plan is to operate the entire place for less than 10,000 a year including taxes and insurance

Completely reworked the water supply at the ranch. Wife broke the ears off the plastic valve (we turn the water off when we leave) so while I was replacing with a big brass valve I tied the guest house to the same valve instead of separate and added a local valve for the sprinkler backflow while keeping the pool on a separate valve. I recall reading 20 years ago the globalists wanted Mexico and Canada to be one country with the United States. I think they labeled the continents as sections etc versus countries. As they try to tear down our standard of living and destroy the middle class I’m pretty sure they want us all in the Mexico level class.

What kind of dorm was she in!! That looks like a fancy house
Best of luck Don on the sale!

Lol Dave. That’s the rental I’m staying in. Nice little neighborhood. Will rent it again for sure. It’s close to campus and close to where her apartment will be next year. And it’s a few blocks from one of the best restaurants and cigar bars. If my youngest goes to Mizzou I’ll probably buy a house here for them to stay in and see if I can charge some rent from a roommate as well. Oh and the finger is just sprained. She wanted to run to the urgent care center when it happened. I told her if it was still pointed in the same direction and she could move it that it wasn’t broken. She insisted on going to Walgreens for the brace instead of using the tongue depressors and Med tape that I had in her Med kit in her foot lockers. She completely forgot about the go bag and Med kit. Well that’s a 20 ft trailer….more redneck.
I’m bringing her car home on the trailer. She’s not been good about phoning home so I don’t get a lot of time talking with her. This way I get 13 hours of windshield time with her.
Shawn, I looked at storage but it would be cheaper to throw all her stuff out and start over rather than put her stuff in storage for 3 months I think.
Dave, you’re right, I probably should take the Bus one time when the wife’s not going with me. I could get there on one fuel.
However I’m getting soft and the super cruise self driving on the Denali is pretty hard to beat.

Spray foam is the only way to fly. Here in the south though you really have to have humidity control since its so air tight.
Looking good.

Nice work Tex.
Do you have the cognito steering brace kit on there? I added it to mine and it has saved my front end and tires significantly since install. I used to NEED an allignmnet minimum twice a year and am now three years from last allignment.
I generally don’t sell parts but this kit has saved me tires. And the steering reacts instantly now.
When I did the suspension rebuild I went with the Kryptonite Stage Three full kit with brace. Very beefy and solid. That and a new red top steering box and it steers well. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

And I got rid of the flea bay HIDs and went with GTR Ultra 2.0 LED low beams. Honestly they are too bright. People hate me at night. But on back country roads they are awesome Keep in mind the before and after are 35hid to these LEDs so these things are BRIGHT These also allow for clocking to make sure you get more focused light output. Resurrecting to update a few things. AC bit the dust. Dessicant bag in the receiver exploded and took out the compressor. Rather than take chances, I replaced everything except the evaporator core since that’s a dash disassembly. OEM compressor, dryer, condenser and hoses. It took 3 quarts of flush to get the evaporator squeaky clean. I also did a complete cooling stack cleaning and pulled the radiator to straighten all the fins by hand. Added a new coolant reservoir and a new S&B intake system while I was in it. Most recently our good friend from Randy’s Ring and Pinion, El Tate, hooked me up with a sweet set up for upper control arms from Icon Dynamics. When I rebuilt the suspension I went first class on everything….except the UCAs, which were OEM Delco and lasted about 60k miles and the ball joints were so loose that hitting rutted pavement on asphalt would make it almost change lanes. Not wanting to take any chances, I pulled it down and put new Moog lower ball joints, greased brake caliper slides and then replaced the upppers. The uppers were well made and included urethane bushings, which now match the energy suspension urethane bushings on the lower control arms. With two new Ridge Grapplers on the front and a new alignment its an amazing difference. While you do feel a little more road feedback from the urethane uppers, I can say that the initial tip in to the corners is more accurate at speed. Those soft bushings would lag the steering input and then correct mid corner requiring slight steering adjustment. These new arms point the truck where your steering input tells it and requires no mid turn adjustment. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk My tank of nitrogen came in handy for flushing

Once it goes viral you get 10,000 people donating $5 and it mushrooms.

Just got a letter from social security to inform me medicare part B will cost me another $65 over the $165 standard as I have a "good retirement" income.
Goes in line with all the current policies that you make more, you pay more. I also just get 1/2 of the normal SS if I was poor, now that will be 1/2 of what it was,,,,,,,,,,,,
How else are we going to pay for all the Illegal immigrants Medicaid and Medicare? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So a guy that works for me has/had a model X Plaid Tesla ($140K) he bought new.
Was in an accident with a drunk driver last night. Neither the seat belt tensioners nor the air bag went off.
Fractured sternum against the wheel and a concussion.
Not a good deal at all.

Nice job. Good looking truck.
Safety was one reason I bought the dually when I had the fifth wheel. I even bagged it to keep the undulations down in the highway when I had about 3000# pin weight and a bed full of firewood.
I found that taking air out of the rear tires made for a lot better ride. I routinely ran 32psi in all four rears when empty.
Somewhere here, Steve still has my dually and has played with the turbo a bit. I’d love to hear how that sounds now. I miss that truck.

Left at 0:430 yesterday to get these. Love driving when the sun is coming up Picked these two up. They’ll be installed just like they sit. Creek is 8-9 ft across and about 6-7 ft deep. It’s dry most times but when we get a really heavy rain the land to the west drains through there in addition to my land so it can get raging. These should handle most of it but if we get a bad tropical storm it may wash out a bit. They were not cheap but much cheaper than building a real rated bridge across. Ordered two 36 inch double wall polyethylene culverts 20 ft long. Going to pick them up tomorrow. Also ordered 8 yards of 066 limestone delivered.
Going to finally start building a real crossing over the wet weather creek so I can get tractor and equipment to the back of the property.

So we have to pace the idiots. As they protest and create disobedience we have to respond with the same. No escalation but pace them to call BS on their tactics.

I think the good people of California need a wholesale insurrection to clear out that governmental and agency cesspool... But that's just me...
I want to be real clear here. I am NOT advocating this, but I see the country heading to a civil war in the not too distant future. Those that use the law as a weapon, stoke hatred and division among racial and economic lines, create a two tier justice system and their limp wristed sheep that bleat while waiting in the government to feed them save them and tell them what to think, versus the good people in flyover states who are nearing the breaking point.
