What a wast of a classic body.

You see stuff like that all over cali, still a wast, soon to be a wasteland.

Maybe kinda what they were thinking with this one JR; wasteland, mad max, etc.

A.K.A. Kajaki, is on Netflix. Started watching at about 10:30pm thinking I'd get about 30 min in and crash out to resume the next day. Nope. up till 12:30am watching this pretty well done flick about a British unit stuck in an old soviet mine field near the Kajaki dam. There were some Chinook scenes, but piloted by brits in the movie. Near Kandahar, thought maybe some of you vets might know the story.

I actually met a former member in Tijuana when I was training the JC Whitney call center there. He was a good man, (hence former member), but he had served time, been deported, and was working to gain legitimate citizenship and return to the US. He said that he has to move quietly because there are still people looking for him and I could see why. With all the facial tattoos it was clear that he was not just some flunky. Funny, but among all the people there I was working with, I initially had the most concern about him but left there feeling like around him I was untouchable. everyone else gave him a wide berth but me being ignorant just walked right up to him and introduced myself. then I saw the MS13 tats and had to very carefully chose the rest of my wording. A very unique experience to say the least, but it didn't change the facts about the group and their tactics or purpose, and I worry about this organization locally more than any other. Had no idea there was Gvt. training involved with these guys, but makes more and more sense as I go back and look at news accounts of their dealings. Scary stuff.

So combat max should hit the auction block. Set a min, and everything above and beyond goes to charity of your choice. Get what you need out of it, drive it up and do some good with your gospel kitchen in OH or something like that. I bet you get what you're looking for that way. It needs a real sendoff.

New windshield last night.
Small outfit that does them in town, home business two guys.
This is at least an annual thing for me as I'm pummelled with rock all the time.

Turns out this spring they had a bad batch of eurathane and it didn't seal properly.
I'd told them I thought it was leaking.
When they pulled the old glass they found two spots that hadn't adhered at all.

They ate my deductible to make it right.
Made my day.

Love hearing stories like that. That's great Sam!

For SEMA, all you really need to do is talk to one of the vendors of the diesel products you have on the motor. Your build is SEMA quality thus far, and I've been every year since 2008, so I have a good perspective. it's the details.

Today I laid another 28 bags of cedar mulch. And ordered another set of Alpine component 6 1/2 speakers for the front doors on the LB7. That will allow me to get after the replacement of the regulators with the new AC Delco regulators, dynamat and new door pull (drivers side). Eventually I'll get a 5 channel amp and a new head unit (double din conversion) and a single 10 inch sub.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you're going to build a box for that sub, please post your dimensions. if you're buying one, please let me know where. I've got two 12" and a wedge truck box that is useless. They are low profile fosgates intended for truck use, but the box is still too wide for behind the back seat or under either side of the 60/40 bench. How's your back after the mulch laying? did your truck get attacked?

Target idea is great, we had a similar setup on the black powder range at scout camp. JR, you're bringing back memories of my never realized plans to chop the wagoneer and make a soft top cover for it with a similar setup. NATE, nice to see you got something to keep you occupied.

Tom McIntyre at Acsco. There company has made several custom emblems for SEMA builds, and are in CA. 818-953-2247 is his direct line. Tell him Tate at Yukon Gear & Axle recommended him. They can do CAD examples, one offs, you name it. http://www.acsco.net/emblem/inner/Productsemblem.shtml

12.5" wide and 40" tall will still look skinny, don't worry about that. I like the old Jeep emblems, and the cummins emblem. While you're fabbing emblems, why not a cummins emblem in the jeep script? something to the effect of "M715.9 powered by Cummins" but in that cool Wagoneer script? Also, what about tires like these?

I was looking at the 700-16 NDT's but couldn't find you anything in 40" or anything that wasn't biasply poly, which suck w/ weight and hwy use.

(tip pinky in the air and read with Robin Leach voice) My stepmother and Dad have a snow-bird home out there and are avid golfers. She comes old money and he's totally blue collar, but is a decent scratch golfer, so gets along with the blue bloods ok. For Christmas gifts, they are paying for all the kids and families to come stay out there during spring break and vacation with them in the not so crazy heat. If you're not too far out from there, I would venture to say I might (not) buy a new ford and come see ya! But in all seriousness, I'll be there for almost 10 days.

BUT, the Economy is BOOMING.........just ask Obummer and the GF of Tate oops, sorry Ken, just like Bill, SHE CHEATS TOO!

Moooove along......nothing to see HERE!

"WHAT DOES IT REALLY MATTER!?!?" She told me I was the only one...that's it Ken, I'm heading to Scottsdale at the end of march. We will settle this like men at that time if the country still exists.

Yo hablo español con fluidez, y viajé en sudamerica después de la secundaria en vez de Europa como todos. I have pretty extensive knowledge of Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Venezuela, Peru, and Argentina, as well as many customers in those countries that are loyal Yukon distributors. We could all build off road toys for a living. I also understand and roughly speak Portuguese.

This is what I'm up against, direct flight line overhead.

"NAS Whidbey Island is the premier naval aviation installation in the Pacific Northwest and home of all Navy tactical electronic attack squadrons flying the EA-18G Growler. Adding to the depth and capability of the air station are four P-3 Orion Maritime Patrol squadrons and two Fleet Reconnaissance squadrons flying the EP-3E Aries."

Oh, and found out they were doing electronic warfare training oct 6 the the 9th...

9" ford for example: 185lb guy hanging off a 3 ft breaker bar with a floor jack handle extension bouncing up and down. Me, "isn't that a little excessive?" Him, "probably not enough actually". TRN, you might damage the adjuster nut or the tool being used to turn it, but you're trying to compress the rollers in the bearing vertically. I'm sure you could come up with a contraption to break it, but with common hand tools it's pretty tough... never mind. Challenge initiated.
