I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb. I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.
Went to scoop some of the junk from the pool this AM, guess he didn't tread water well.
Made it to Yellowstone for the week. Eating good, drinking good and lots of hiking will ensue Supposedly, from a good source this is supposed to be better than Blanton’sSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Boys have been busy.Dodged the bullet thanks to the Lord for no damage from all the storms. My “experiment” of two 36 inch culverts with 36 tons of rock came to an abrupt end at the ranch after torrential rains washed it all down stream. I have now recovered the culverts from the creek and will be putting them up for sale.Plan B will be a low water crossing me thinks. I may have to buy a track hoe and use it for a year and sell it.Standby generator at the ranch has a fault which I think is the control board….Appointment this week for the Houston house for a 48kw whole house generator. Grid has gotten very unreliable in the last 5 years and time to solve that problem.Youngest on her way to the Mays School of Business at Texas A&M this fall and oldest is done with sophomore year at Mizzou. Next two years will be maximum negative cash flow as money goes to two universities.Bus is limping along and I need to decide to yank motor and get busy or bite the bullet and buy some DEF laden boat anchor dually.Glad you boys are doing well.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Today was dock day. And what a beauty it was. Woke up at 06:00 to don’t it was 45 out and not 36 like it was supposed to be and winds were 2-3 mph. Best kind of dock weather. It’s just over four miles from the marina where my dock winters to the crib at the cabin. I pulled back off shore at 07:40 and was off to the races. Cruising right along. This is about the limit as much faster the far end starts to push underwater. So calm….Yard looks good, grass is a startin. I hit the crib blocks at 08:39 and was allowed and posts in at 08:45. Dock is in cabin is open. Proceeded to open some water lines to start draining antifreeze. Cleaned up the spot the mill is going and started filtering last years water that survived the winter in the tote. I left about 150 gallons in one as an experiment to determine if it was a good idea or bad one. Well, it survived. But, should have been filtered and chlorinated last fall…so doing just that now. Will be good to go next week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
