A few pics from my cheapo $65 drone.

JR:
This is a $65 special I got at a show. Just does 720 pics/video. Not high quality but plenty of detail.

This is called Camp Lassen in the foothills above Chico Ca. It is an old logging camp form the 1800's.

Also joined Vimeo and here is a video of Flags. Our Troop is in the lower right almost out of view.

Wilbur:
Hey that is very cool! Looks great. Thanks for sharing that. I think drones will add so much more to thins like that. My daughter's college graduation had a drone over it for footage. It was very cool to see that perspective.

Sammconn:
That's pretty good.
720 isn't all that bad either.
For what is typically dne with these it's more than enough.

Now some 1080 with IR and all the goodies would be awesome, but not $65.

EL TATE:
I smell a drone build thread coming with that much savings.

JR:
Heck, you can get this on Amazon for under $55; http://www.amazon.com/Syma-Channel-2-4GHz-Explorers-Copter/dp/B00MNG37C2

Add a micro SD card and 4 AA and you have the same.

Now saying that you still have to fly it. Not all that hard as it is gyro stabilized. It is like riding a bike, not hard once you know a little.

I will look for something in the middle of this and the Chroma at $1100.
