Negative. My best friend. An immigrant from Croatia that escaped communism under Marshall Tito in 1975. He’s a great American. Better than most who were born here.

So couple days ago I put down my $100 deposit on this bad boy

Check out his Instagram account for cool videos of it

And in case you were wondering, yes this monster will be getting its own stand that is bolted to the floor in new shop.

Decided to try my hand at painting my shop sign panels instead of the easy route, vinyl.
Laid it out in pencil but failed at freehand so ended up taping it then using a brush.

Not sure I have the patience to finish it.

Vinyl would have been so much simpler.
But kudos for going with paint.

Haven't even started on the "automotive" part yet, let alone the other side. Probably shorten it to Auto, even though that doesn't match what's on the business license.

Did some honest looking for a four door jeep this weekend came up very dissatisfied and proplexed at how these people can ask so much money for such smashed up garbage

I did drive a new 2021 with the eco diesel and boy is that a pretty smooth power curve and decent ride quality

Looking to follow Shawn into the V8 one ton conversion arena.  I’d like to test drive a guys in the next town over.  He has one of the cleanest set ups I have ever laid eyes on!  He said I’m welcome to come over and see what it’s all about
2011 platform with a 6.0ls motor swap and Ford axles.   I sure hope it rides better and drive more friendly then the trash I drove.

Jeep people are weird.

Decided to see if I could ditch my optics snobbery and bought a Vortex Spitfire 1x CQB optic on sale for $149.  Since I’ve been building quite a few ARs lately I thought I try this instead of buying a bunch of Aimpoint Comp M4s

Will write an op when I get it

Well today I took the twins for a drive.
For those keeping score you’ll know what this means.

What shocked me was how much of the car trailer it occupied.

Hope you get feeling better. I woke up yesterday with headache and sore throat. I went to bed last night with fever. Chilled and sweats all night, woke up this morning and stomach was upset but no fever. Still have sore throat but worked out this morning and put in a full day of pretty strenuous work. Very odd, never took any meds during any of it either. Wife now has fever and chills in bed…..

For what it’s worth, we’re both good as of this morning. We did take a dose of ivermectin last night though (traveling come end of the week so not wanting to miss it), my second dose as first was 1-2 months back. It was her first dose though.

I got a cheap trailer on FB and cut it up ($50). Tires are new and it has a 2500lb winch on it.

Will use the axle on the scraper project, making it a plane that anything drag.

If I can score some cheap barstock I want to make the frame into a sifter at the prop. I have some expanded sheet metal that may work, but thats getting $$$ to.

Getting ready to jump on a plane in the early am, bounce down by Charles via Hobby then onto HHI for a few days and try to check out and forget the mountain of work I have awaiting me. Had the better half not booked this last spring I’d be here for the foreseeable future.

So wife and I were in Sledge MS, home of Charlie Pride for her mother’s funeral yesterday and we decided to make it a little ways back towards texas so today we wouldn’t have a long drive today. We stopped in Greenville MS and decided we weren’t up for going out so we ordered steaks to go. I’ve been to a Doe’s Eats in Little Rock 20 years ago but this one is the original family owned location.

It was an absolute hole in the wall. Only open from 5-9 and it’s first come for dine in. People were lined up outside and waiting to get in. Steaks are cooked in the front room under the two huge salamanders.  The guy working them was drenched. I could hardly stand 6 feet from them much less right next to him.

Wife had a filet and I had some flintstone  bone in ribeye that had to weigh 24 ounces at least. It was a good 2 inches thick.

Cool place. Walk in grab your own beer from the cooler

I may have been a little premature in my statement about being out of the Wagyu business. We had a conversation and hashed out some details. After harvest our cattle barn will be full again. And he had us chop 60 acres of silage. He will be purchasing that from us through the year to feed not only the cattle at our place but his entire herd.
Had one major break down. Tore the rear end out of a truck. Had to finish with the bosses good truck. I let Jasper finish up the last round. He was really proud.

Been on an elk hunt for a few days. Pretty awesome country.  Came home empty handed but sure got a heck of a workout.
Part of the time we hunted along a creek lined with blackberries, for roughly 2 miles. Numnum

Scored a 12 inch bucket for the bobcat for just $150 in great shape. It is a bolt on vs pin on but uses the X Change coupler.

Rim country Bob. We've been there before. Those pics were fairly close to a trail, but we hiked in a couple miles farther where the elk were hanging out.
