Apparently the clock spring has a sensitivity issue. I can only blame millennials for the cause of such a stupid device. Must be left alone, can’t turn to far one way or another, has to be strapped down for other non related repairs. It has to be a millennial part of these trucks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Built a set of stairs for the loft area. Before the only access was up a set of attic stairs. These are only temporary, we are going to redo this area into a bathroom and put in some easy low angle stairs. But this was only about $100 and it is easy enough for the kids to get up and down safely. It was my first attempt at stairs and they turned out nice and sturdy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
While making better of a bad situation my wife suggested that we take some of the “junk” cabinet doors left over from the wrong size cabinets and make some nice magnet boards. Got some scrap from my sheet metal hvac guy and used his press brake and cut em out, siliconed them in and used some little picture frame clips to hold it in place. Turned out rather nice if I don’t say so myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Iirc minimum stair width, unless secondary egress is available is 36 and headroom is 68Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks. Lots of Birthday wishesSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb. I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.
Thanks Sam. There is enough 130 proof whiskey there to make an entire crowd stupid.Thought about you today. Watching Building Off The Grid, North Pole and these guys built a 12x16 cabin 16 miles from no where hauling in everything on snowmobile. Way envious, but I would be doing it solo. Wife is not on board.
Happy Birthday Charles! Glad to see someone bought you a glass of my favorite brand- DIBS Nate! Happy Birthday to the Ken clan as well! Hillary’s born in December too I bet - lump of coal her parents got!
Oh. You meant that little bottle of Makers? They threw that in the bag for free when I bought my last bottle of the good stuff Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
26th, wow that is going to be busy!I did a kid thing yesterday and it felt great. On the way to pickup my son from school I was merging left as the lane ends after a stoplight. As I merged, this little rice burner (car) was right on my bumper attempting to pass everyone with the lane was ending and I was the first car. He went into the bike lane to get around me and I floored it. My tune is not the best but was enough to outrun him and blew a good amount of smoke in the process. When I looked over I noticed the window down and my exhaust is about that height so it was a double play.Better than tearing up mulch at the mall!!!

Did he look like a racoon after the dousing? LOL
Had first construction meeting on new home this morning. They are ahead of schedule by a few days and digging basement today. Had appraisal on existing home done today.Officially signed lease and deposit on new town home for six months. Spoke with all utilities & have things set up for the switch. Movers have been hired and we move on the 26thAll the heavy equipment is in my shop except for the lathe as it still needs moved along with odds and ends mostly steel parts. Compressor is extremely top heavy and no fun to move, retired neighbor cop stopped by and gave me hand off loading it along with bottom roller tool chest. Second set of hands was very appreciated. Finally received refund from Richmond American Homes on original build, vp is lucky they have cameras in his lobby. I exchanged some choice words with him about his disfunctional company. Not my finest moment. So bottom pic, home in the middle is similiar to ours being built except we have more windows up top. Single car on the one side is moms separate entrance to her suite.
