I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb. I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

That would be terribly inconvenient!!

That would be terribly inconvenient!!Supposedly they destroyed the records when it was scrapped a few years ago. So I may have two long guns. Priors and posts though, I don't seem to have any of them. 8)There will be some interesting times ahead of us for sure. At the moment, I'm looking at upping the non existing long gun count and debating a couple glocks. Thinking a 9mm and .45. Probably the 17, but maybe 19, and currently undecided on which 45. Does anyone have an explanation on the difference and are the gen 4's worth the extra $? I know there are some differences in them just is it worth it if I have to order in if there is a Gen 3 in stock?
Hard to argue with that logicI hope I'm as smart as you, Don, when I get to your age....
RN, Thanks for all of the info. It is really helpful. I have never own a Glock (I know! Gasp!) It has been on my long list of things I would like to have. I have always wanted a 45cal. I have been going back and forth between a 1911 and Glock 21. If you or Don were going to buy a 45cal which pistol would you go with? I like the capacity of the 21. I'm not planning it for CC.
What the heck has happened to this place since I left? ??? Seriously, it's like I entered the twilight zone er sumthing! ;DQuote from: TexasRedNeck on October 21, 2015, 09:44:21 PMHard to argue with that logicI hope I'm as smart as you, Don, when I get to your age....

That's why i don't own a Glock. Too many numbers.
That's why i don't own a Glock. Too many numbers.I have a colt 1911. One number....and my backup? another colt 1911. Easy. So simple a mechanic could remember.
A browning 50 cal is just as old......just sayin'

I own all of the aboveBetween a 1911 and a G21, then a G21 hands down, not lookin back!If I were going to carry a G21, then I'd carry a G30 with a G21 mag with the +2 extender
