Along with that precision target shooting you are doing cardio right?

Excellent point Shawn. I've always trained to stitch up. Two high center following to ocular cavity. May need to rethink that.

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

I can train all day, and I do have many many hours in but I've never been faced with having to use my weapon in the real world like many of those here. We just have to hope the the training works.

The standard 3 tap(we called it mozambek).

Even with BA the 2 lower shots will slow them down. If they don't fall, the next shots higher will do the job.

That will be the next regulation, BA will be banned so only bad guys have it.

Been focusing on hips & heads for last couple years now, then saw this & thought it was worth posting for others....

As you stated I've never unholstered my weapon in a compromising situation. I've been in my fair share of altercations inside & out of the steel shop I used to GM & honestly was never pushed into a position where I felt going to it was necessary, luckily.

The only thing I have to compare is hunting & having to make quick shots whether it was a deer who broke thru heavy brush & stopped for a split second in my shooting lane or a rabbit who came into an opening in the brush that afforded the shot. In those instances I have been percentage wise fairly deadly. I realize it's no comparison but honestly the only thing I can relate to what I envision it to be. Fortunately for me I've never had to make those split second decisions that others here have been forced to make.

The more I think about it, I think the 2 to the chest followed by head shots is still the way to go.  Initial fear response allows enough accuracy to get hits center mass.  That next second allows senses to return and hit ocular cavity.

As JR says, even if they are wearing armor, a .45 acp to the chest will knock the wind out of the at a minimum and slow them slightlyl

of course the alternative could be shots to the groin....

Start with the hips & end with the head. I really don't see the disadvantage to that strategy.
