Very nice JR.  I may have some things for you if I can scrounge them up.

There is a flush adapter that has a hose connection and two big square rubber "ears that go on both sides of the drive unit to connect the waer hose and flush.

The other is a pump that goes on gear lube and lets you pump gear lube into the lower unit.

Also, buy a spare water pump impeller and keep it handy,

If you don't already have a top sider oil evacuator it makes changing the oil a snap. (works well on cars too)

Check the bilge blower to make sure it works.

Have fun!

We still have to state the truth.  Remember Christ's comments to the whore?  Go and sin no more?  He knew it was impossible for her not to sin more but he still had to command her accordingly.

In the end we won't have to go it alone.  Like minded people will rise up and band together and the result will shock the liberals because there are those that talk and those that do.

That?s my congresswoman. Direct result of affirmative action in college, law firm recruiting and then on to Congress.

I don?t throw this term lightly knowing how the left uses it in the pejorative.

She?s an out right racist and I?ve seen it first hand. She abuses her staff of all colors. Just google Sheila Jackson Lee gaffs. There?s a long long list of stupidity.

While this is true it is mainly the mechanical sound of the action cycling.

E.g my ruger pistol is more quiet when I hold my thumb over the bolt, but it is imperceptible unless you are using subsonic ammo. With supersonic ammo you still get the crack of the sound barrier being broken and it dwarfs the sound of the bolt cycling.

Using subsonic will put a smile on your face even with the bolt cycling.

No ballistic sounds escape from the bolt. The bullet and pressure have passed by the time the bolt unlocks.

I?m thinking up near Grangeville at some altitude. Much cooler there than Boise. Finding the right piece of land will be the trick. Has to be in the area where it gets sufficient rainfall for crops and high enough elevation to be cooler and flat enough in at least 1 acre to be farmed.

Since I?m storing my surplus fireworks that might not be a bad idea. Halon pipe right down the outside long wall. Shouldn?t take much in an enclosed space like that.

Now I have the can finished and I?m filling it up with stuff the kids are asking questions. Interesting convo with them about my concentric circle planning and where the next piece of property will be for the last circle. I did have to detour a bit to ?resort up? the place because life with kids, ya know!

They used to joke about my ?phases? as they would call them. Weapons, reloading, HAM radio, Ready Store, etc. now they are starting to see all of it put in order in the ?plan?

Will run inventory on all my stuff with a eye towards one year self sufficiency here. Next step is looking for some acreage in ID or MT as the last and final circle.

In retirement it will be the summer get away from the heat for a couple months and the permanent get away if something really really bad happens

So apparently Obama made me a hoarder. Most of this stuff I haven?t seen in four years.

In this pile is 55,000 primers and 103lbs of powder and 20,000 projectiles.

In this pile is 15,000 rounds of brass

And I apparently have a nice reloading set up. Bad thing after not using it in four years I need to go through setting and calibrating it all over. Same with the brass. Not sure which was fully prepped/sized and what wasn?t.

Got the shelves done this morning too

I?m debating a new tongue jack on my trailer.  I thought about a side crank but then you have to be on that one side where a top can be cranked from both sides.

Spent 11 h0urs on the road today going to the BILs and retrieving my other parts of my reloading gear.  I forgot what all I had down there. I must have been hoarding 4 years ago when primers and powder were hard to come by.  20,000 primers and 60lbs of powder a bunch of projectiles and more once fired lake city brass that I could count.....add that to the big ol pile of stuff I took from our laundry room....lol the wife doesn?t know what to do with all that extra space now

I need to wrap these projects so I can get back to shooting!

Sean, be safe and God speed.

One thing mentioned in the article about charitable endeavors;  how much goes to charity.  I?m fortunate enough to direct funds for my company for some charitable purposes and if 76% or more of the funds raised don?t make it to the end cause, it never gets off the ground with me.  The Scott McIntosh memorial event benefiting Folds of Honor is upwards of 96-98% due to all the food , beverage and other items being donated.

That separates a lot of organizations.  A good site to use to vett  charitable giving is www.charitynavigator.org.

Been off all week and getting things done.

Installed my old spare window unit in the casita to make working inside bearable as it?s back to upper 90s and humidity this week. That unit has been around for 10 years as an emergency backup for hurricanes and power outages. Well worth whatever I spent on it. Will be putting up the pony walls upstairs to make the code compliant 5 ft minimum wall height and create storage space.

Caulked the entry door to the seacan and then made a step out of a piece of RR tie and 2x12

Then put up a new feeder

Gonna make fried chicken fingers for my helper. Youngest has been hanging out with me all week.

Oh and I spread topsoil and made a stone path to the garage and will spread some seed to get grass growing.

Tomorrow I?m hoping my shelving units finally show up and I?ll get my reloading set up from my BIL place.
