Oh. I guess my rigger's belt and a bungee strap was not as safe as I thought. Typical redneck dummy

That's all good. Locking D ring and a climbing rope with a figure 8 at each end with an overhand knot to secure the 8, also works.

5 point racing harness, velcro panel on your pants and the seat, duct taped boots to the rail and a tree stand harness attached to the pilot's belt/waist with my right hand taped to the barrel and I'm ready to go play "make mike puke or fall out the window trying" shooting with the biggest grin you've ever seen......between "lunch inspection" points and mag changes!  Bucket list material - will be trying someday to procure BBQ fixin's for the masses.

My LML (2012) had a factory covered service bulletin due to a leak at the turbo - I could smell the lovely DEF smell in the cab.  Have dealer check it out- there are also extended warranty bulletins through GM due to class action type stuff, so ask about that too!

If Nate's gonna be there cooking, it better be "Smellavision" so Bobby can really "hate Nate" in his loving way.  I also want to smell that "break-in" smell of new metal being heated up, burning off sweat and oil for the first time.  Petroleum derivatives being unleashed into the atmosphere, bunny huggers wailing in agony and the Global Warming crowd phoning Al Gore to complain!  Gotta catch the impish grin that'll be plastered across Don's face as visions of KIA encounters and Prius pushing dance in his head.....that smell.....that gasoline smell..........VICTORY!

I fondly remember the "Tale of Two Cities" I was forced to read as a HS Freshman......."The French Revolution.....American Style" would be a welcomed story to watch Live with the coverage by complicit networks who suddenly report the story as it is, not how their handlers wish it to be.  Could you report the arrest of your boss without being worried, "who's next?"

HC- just how often do you get "reprimanded" for filling out reports with similar eloquence?  I know I've filled out a few behavior reports with creative verbage a time or two- just wondering if you get to sip in a few, "street corner pharmacist" type giggles.

YOU could be a writer should you desire- nicely done there HC, or should we say "Blainebeck"?

I cannot help but think of the movie staring Greg Kinear as a pastor, who's son dies/near dies on the operating table- think its titled "Heaven is Real" and based upon a true story.

Same can be said of "feelings" surrounding this site and Glorious developments you had premonition to, then were confirmed by another member- it's all around us, we just need to be aware and receptive!

I really have no idea what's being talked about in this thread past you saying you want to wire the house up for surround sound and the man cave....

For us old guys and non-techies, he's talking about that Bobby, but more simply put, when the SHTF arrives, he's got really cool paper weights and lots of cable to make snares with!  :o

I'm with ya Ken- like a trip to the Greek Isles, sounds cool, but not a clue about it all!

It's a tough, but correct course of action- remember all the laughs you had with her doing those things that dogs do!  They give us their all while they're here and love us to the extent that animals do-

How do you know who's truly mans best friend?  Lock your wife and your dog in a trunk and see which one licks your face when you open it up!

Peace to you and your wife-

Trump knows the press game, publicity etc. - he goes crazy, EVERYONE covers it, he's in the news cycle constantly so he stays relevant, gets wide coverage etc.  Any press is better than no press, so he keeps pushing the "buttons"!

So, why not put a new match grade barrel on the old girl- (looks etc) upgrade the trigger, scope it with period, quality German glass and mount, have the existing stock glass bedded and work up custom loads?  Hell, go all out and buy a WW2 uniform, or I can send you my chrome German Helmet to shoot in!

One of our resident sniper types can get you all the dope on atmospheric influences on performance of your load, then visit your local Amish and find out the correct crappy weather day in March to schedule the shoot off- rain or shine.  You know he's only gonna practice in the "good" weather so play it to your advantage!

Old age and treachery baby! ;)

We just use siphone/gravity outta a similar barrel from truck bed into RV as filler is lower than truck bed, but cool set-up!

Today is Blessing of the Backpacks Day at church- 10 yr. old daughter goes to the school there and it's a great way to kick off their school year!

May all of your children have a safe and blessed year, growing in knowledge and faith, and may they all learn the difference between being children in the world and not "of the world".  Pray for them and their teachers-

Looking top shelf there Don- glad to see your not letting any grass grow underneath the mandals!  Hey, speaking of which, the mandal shots stopped showing up- Red Dog or the BFK (Black Faced Killer) get to them?  BFK got big quickly too!
Daughter!

I pay her to clean the house

She straightened them up out of existence!

She probably thought they were a pair of Merrells you wore all the fabric off of- takes our children awhile to learn the difference between "cheap" and "frugal" -

I like Ben Carson form the stand point of putting hucksters - Sharpton and the like in their places!  He's also non-politician and a Dr. so who better to straighten out health care, the VA, Planned Parenthood.  I've liked him and thought he should run, for the past few years- could you imagine if he teamed up with the Milwaukee Sherriff?  There'd be some SERIOUS come to Jesus moments for thugs, crime and the like- then put Sherriff Joe Arpio in charge of Homeland Security!

With you RN I really like what I hear, but have my doubts too.  Moral compass is clearly weak, business sense and patriotism is strong, but seems to have raised decent kids.  Vanity could be troublesome - look in mirror at the comb over - you are exhibiting weak perception Donald!

CLEARLY the majority are through with Political Correctness given his support- if he's not the candidate, I hope whomever is incorporates those things that are propelling Trump forward.

I would be apparent that someone of a higher rank had a great deal of displeasure with that particular platoon, or another platoon was seeking retribution of some sort?

Or someone lost their safety belt?
