Idaho... not full time. To be honest, not sure how I'm going to get there part time. I haven't taken more than 2 days off at a time since opening the shop. .. need to get the tractor up there, chainsaws, and cut some roads and hopefully drag up the fifth wheel..then a well, then septic, or vice versa.

Ashley and his wife just gutted a place and redid the whole house here a year or so ago. She has a large craft room of similiar size to your container. They just sealed up the osb and it turned out very nice.

I need the week as I didn't do the guy weekend this year.

Going to let me finish a few things too as they are hard to do with everyone home.

Boy I hear that, I have a big week of stuff planned when kids are visiting grandmas here in two weeks!

Shawn, same setup here. My barber is 80+, and gave me my first haircut. He knows everything about everyone, their history and the town's. We have some great convos, especially when it's just him and myself. The language can be quite colorful.....much different than how he spoke to me when I was 5. Lol

Ken, I’m not concerned or confused about my orientation at ALL.....

On the other hand, I’m getting tired of supporting someone else’s misguided life. The fact was the place was more expensive than my regular. I probably have less hair than my last cut. I didn’t think the conversation with said individual would be worth more money. So I decided it was a purchase I just couldn’t justify.....

So we hosted some guy and his family from Texas last night for dinner. Good times btw.

Today I went to try and get a haircut (what hair I have left anyhow). Louie who is 80 owns a local place, straight up real barber even uses straight razor on your neck. Him and his son own the shop and both work it along with another guy (flavor of the month it seems) in this three seat shop. So I go there every couple weeks & it’s been three so well overdue. Get there & he’s closed for two weeks & not open until next Tuesday.

Ok, so went ahead and ran some other errands. So there is a new roosters place in a new shopping center with grocery store. I walk in and the sign says it’s a men’s barber shop but the prices would appear to be for women. Without tip they wanted $22 for a buzz cut. Ok, whatever they tell me ten minutes and I sit down as I scan the place. Ten chairs all female barbers & what appears to be one male barber in disguise who is more feminine than my wife.

I’m thinking great my luck I’ll get HER. Sure enough he finishes some older guy up in his 60’s & walks him to the front. I watch as the older male interacts with HER and it’s uncomfortable for the straight old guy. Next thing I know she calls my name out twice. I finally respond, she asks if I’m ready? To which I said no and walked out. Guess I’m waiting until Louie gets back on Tuesday & he’s getting an earful!

5426
If it was a crew cab, I'd consider it....

Kids can ride in the topper..... your user name does have redneck in it right?

I think Charles needs to buy it, send it to Norm to fix "all" of the issues and then Charles can come pick it up and deliver to the body shop of his choice for a red paint job....

New, we traded in her Lexus too. It was at around 80k, and needing a couple things. By trading both we were able to get within $1k difference in price between new and our used vehicles so it saved us $3-4K in new sales tax so that helped.

With Baylee driving and my middle daughter getting license & car within year the wife and I do not need 3 vehicles for us. I’m done running to Indiana & back so having a truck was no longer necessary & with constant issues glad it was gone. I put 30k on it in last year and few months. Not including fuel and insurance it cost me .16 cents a mile to own. Haven’t figured out how that works out but doesn’t sound horrible. Momma is happy so you know how that works.

I drove truck home last night, unloaded it and took it to new dealer this morning. Had 15 miles left according to gas gauge when I got to dealer this morning.....

Update, still not done. UPS misplaced the torque converter and then found it. Front seal was shipped direct from manufacturer, must be a problem with those going out if Ford had none in stock.... As of 4 pm today they finally had all the parts to reinstall the transmission  again. So hopefully I get it back in functioning order tomorrow, it has an appointment with it's new owner soon after I get it back.....

Slight update, pulled third member out. Rotated lube locker so break out of gasket around one stud is upper right bolt. Doubt it should leak this way, time will tell. Part of the reason for this is that Currie axle had aluminum washers on each stud, thinking prior owner added them. When I went to torque the nylon nuts to spec on the third I realized these washers were aluminum because a couple actually split in half. So I needed to replace them with steel washers which I did and in process flipped gasket.

Also been fabricating rear tire carrier, will update with pics shortly. Plan is to swap rear axle in two weeks while kids are visiting grandma out of state.....

Listen, it’s awkward best I can tell you. On a lifted xj you’re trying to toss your leg / butt up & duck as you move sideways. I realize you’re probably pretty agile dealing with all of H’s stumbling but I’m trying to look out for ol Don here.....

I say let Charles use the splitter. We could start a wager if there are any takers?

I'm leaning against this working at the moment for the record. I owned a 40 ton splitter and have stalled it out more than once so even though it states 40 ton or less in Charles case I'm not sure that is relevant to this equation. Interesting non the less though, good luck Tex!

Had another thought. I drove Baylee’s xj last night, went to put some fuel in it for her. For the record 6 foot 3 Shawn hit his head getting in it. You might wanna check that out before buying one for yourself.
I remember them as being a bit cramped for we big guys

It's great for Baylee who is 5'4" and her knucklehead BF who is 6 foot 3 and I am told hits his head too which I am fine with currently. I did see a mod where you can cut the seat frame / slider and lower the seat several inches. If I had to daily drive one this would be the first mod.....

Regardless, as long as it’s not digging in the dirt it should move pretty easy. I do agree a couple snatch blocks would help. Another thought is hire a local wrecker (as cheap as buy more gear) to come in with his truck winch. Between that and rigged off a couple trees I’m sure you could make it work too if he can anchor his truck to a tree on the front end or several chevys (ironic I know!).

Honestly, the log splitter may work but it would not be my first choice for the record. Too each their own and we’ve been promised video so on the other hand it should be interesting either way.
