The wife turned 65 yesterday, and I will do the same in 2 years. Currently, we have Blue Cross and Blue Shield from my work and tricare, and she has Medicare. Does anyone know anything about Medicare and how it works with tricare or a good source to talk to? The government, I think, makes this stuff hard to understand just so they can give you the shaft.

Been get quotes for a 30x50x14 shop with a 25 ' gable extension. Should have done this years ago when stuff was cheaper. Oh well, you can't take it with you. Along with that, the wife wants new floors and a new master bath. Let us not forget the new Yukon she wants also.

Does the forum have to pay to use these services like Tapatalk or are the funded by all the ads they display?

Today I got notice from several other forums that they are dropping Tapatalk and moving to Fora because of the new owners and terms of service on Taptalk. Will we be staying with Tapatalk?

I hate those man lifts! The only ones I have used are military version and they never worked right or would die at the wrong time. Stuck in one near the tail of an AWACS when a thunder storm rolled in. They had to pull it away from the aircraft with a truck and crack the cylinder hydro line to get me down. Was not a fun ride

Army doesn’t own ladders eh?
I for one am not climbing a 60' ladder unless it is tied to something in Oklahoma winds
Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
The reach on this one is like 32’
32 feet ? Couldn't you do that with a couple of step ladders stacked on top of each other? Those lifts are a life saver. When you have to get people and equipment up any distance make work safer, quicker and easier. I may not like them but sometimes they are the best tool for the job Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

6th skin graft surgery done. The areas are getting smaller . The doctor said it looked good. I feel the main issue now is that he is depressed so he isn't eating like he needs to along with that he is smoking more so that reduces the blood flow
Thank youbfor the prayers

Found out Friday that Damien my stepson will have another skin graft surgery this coming Wednesday. Only about 50% of the last skin graft took. Kind of in a circle he is depressed about having another skin graft so he isn't eating so he isn't getting the protein that he needs to eat to get the grafts to heal.

I’ll continue to pray for his well-being
Mind if I ask what his occupation is/was?

He worked in a medical pot lab and worked as a extractor (removing the cbd from the pot). Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

Between tampons and heavy flow pads a womans purse is a good start of a med kit. When my daughter was in girl scout our med kits had both. Served duel purposes

Having a better half who has been over an OB on several occasions just don’t do the home birth method or out of hospital method. Do your due diligence in finding a great facility to deliver with good results and a capable nicu should the need arrive that you need those services.
We have medicine and highly trained staff in many facilities, this isn’t the early 1900’s. If things do go sideways then being at the right place with the right people can make all the difference of the outcome.
Thanks, sure hope the kids listen to sound advice Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

At what age is it considered a geriatric pregnancy?
Kat was 36 delivering our youngest.
I would say he is/was fine, but, well, he joined the Infantry, so I guess there were some mental issues present that he never outgrew!
:-0
They now say that 35 and older is geriatric for pregnancies. Daughter inlaw will be 40 when she gives birth and it is her first pregnancy Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

Step son came home from the hospital yesterday after they removed the staples from the skin grafts. His donor site(his back) and his right ankle (the area that was burned down to the tendon) are both causing a lot of pain which is somewhat controlled with pain medicine but not completely. He is finding hard to do much of anything (sleep, walk, stand, sit) with out pain. Home health comes today to start PT with him.
Thanks for the prayers

Why in the world did the bone heads in DC think that when the way came down that Russia would become our friends and the world would live happily ever after? Most people I know from the military feel they are just as dangerous now as they ever have been
