That's what I have JR, but the larger one. Works as well as a yeti if "done right". Paid 200 at Sams club. I really like the latches, handles, and especially the drain plug. The only thing I don't like is the weight, and the finish is rougher than a yeti (harder to clean).

Definately the newer one. Crossflow is much more thermally efficient....that and also fin count per inch.

Hmm. Sure looks like the same service line. Not sure how many they have running in Az. right now. I do know they will be extremely busy this year.
That particular pic was from the area near woods canyon, on the rim.

Took the wife camping for our 10th anniversary.     Put 100 miles of dirt road on the truck, and about 50 in the ranger today... seen a fire, some antelope, and a boat load of elk.

Not too long ago you accused me of only reading the last chapter of the book and then letting out the ending.
Have a great long weekend, try to stay cool down there

Oh, LOL!!

Am I missing something? When we were going out every weekend, fishing, we always pulled up on the beach...just made sure it had sand and not rock, and we had one of those rubber keel protectors like Tex showed. Never had an issue. (2 different boats, a 19' and a 17')
Maybe all you have is rock in your area?

I actually like it JR.. it takes a bit to fill it with 50 rounds ( wish they would have made it 60... it would load 2 -30 round mags) but at least my fingers weren't raw when done. It took about 20 minutes to load 10 mags. (300 rounds)

A Caldwell mag loader Nate. They're normally 80 bucks or so, on sale at Cabela's for 40, minus 10% vet discount (buddy), so he paid 36. Still time consuming.... I think the homemade ones are probably quicker, but this one takes up less room.

At least it's not another one of those ugly dodges! (I'm prepared for all the hate that will follow)

Seriously tho, IMHO, 87 was the best year for chevy. The older body style with a TBI engine. We would pull one up next to a late 80's ford and just shake our heads at the simplicity of the chevy injection compared to ford...and also how much better they ran...and better mileage to boot!
Nice truck Blaine, very nice.

Hey Sam, did you blow out that venturi real good, the one that has a single bolt for the accelerator passage. The 2 tubes that stick down can be a bugger to clean sometimes. My second guess would be burnt points (if it has them).

Rescue Randy fooled around and got himself into a sketchy spot about half way up this stack so three of us had to help him down. Didn't get a chance to take pictures of the rigging but it consisted of a class 3 harness, Reeve Sleeve, high point anchor, and safety line using prusiks. Lowered him with a MPD. A little hot, but good training and a lot of fun.

Pretty tight area to work in.

The hole we lowered him through. Hard to make out but those guys are tied off to their own safety.

Looking up.

Just seen this Sam...the valve won't come out by itself, but if you put a pinky or small screwdriver in there, it should just be sitting there..you should be able to press on it and feel the spring. If it doesn't feel loose, it's stuck...pressing it in farther will usually free up the piece of debris (unless it's gauled then get a new pump)

Kinda hard to tell, but it looks like the magnet isn't mating properly to the drum....possibly rusted?  Make sure it "flops/wiggles" freely, plug it in and see if it is magnetized, move it manually to the right and make sure it moves freely at the lever pivot point, etc. Sometimes the wires break from flexing also.
At least it's facing the right direction, proving my theory wrong. The reason i thought they could be backwards is because you can't tell which way they go without taking off the drums.
