I had 1in spaces on the elky, never had an issue but I used locktite on them. I made them too.

Tate, those are nice but pricey. Not crazy though.

Yeah, they look good. Water has a way out vs being stuck in those hwy tires.

How much taller are they?

Looked at those for my sons S10, but not made for size we want.

Looking at icons now.

He wants to push the wheels out a little. Not a fan of spacers either, but short as possible. Told he can do that with the right wheels.

I more don't like them for the stress they put on bearings and spindles. But wheels you normally run are cast, spacers are billet and stronger than the wheel (unless steel)

Trying to make a little room and making the garage usable again. I added a hoist on unistrut that has been here since before Christmas.

Just lagged into the beams for now, but still good for several hundred pounds. 660lb from Vevor and it can be doubled (included pully and lift straps). Roller mounts and little things from Az.

Found a larger 6.25in 3 jaw chuck for my lathe, standard 5.25in just always seemed to be just a hair small. Got an 8in (real cheap), but it was BIG and didn't feel right. Fuerda (china) quality looks good and spins true with drill rod. Uses a D1-4 mount and just being a 24 ctr-ctr lathe space gets tight. Probably repurpose the 8in for a rotary table I have.

Redoing the lathe setup after removing the mill. Needs a metal chip plate now, added a shelf on the rear and have a tool cabinet that will fit up there nicely.

Just got a 2.5 lift for it. About all there is really but OK for the smaller truck.

Thinking about doing wheel spacers too. With a 5 on 4 3/4 thinking about 5x5 which is way more common.

TRN, have you seen the blast systems that use water? Some are really cheap, some not. I got a cheap one to try.

Basically, it pushes the media with water and compressed air. Biggest thing is hardly any mess, no cloud and just hose down to cleanup.

Pulled the mill head off my Lathe, never have used it (15 years) since I have a smaller mill and now have the BP.

Got the Yeswelder 55pro plasma running yesterday, runs good! For $130 and setup for CNC was a great buy. Cut through 3/16 like butter at 40amps, now to hookup to the Arcdroid. First project will be a universal winch mount plate. Might even sell or give out code if it works.

I have been picking up parts, engine crossmember with mount, 4L80 for a rebuild and adapter to for it all in hand.

Looking at big brakes for the Dana 60, undecided.

He is sitting on my trailer right now at the storage yard. With the exc and sons Sonoma room was not there for now.

Staying with the 4.3 for now. For a smaller truck the V6 does good. Interior pulled apart and doing the headliner.

Found a water leak on the windshield and getting est for that now.

Did the ignition yesterday, would start without key (but starts everytime) AC runs cold, got some TBI stuff for it too.

Went up Sunday just for once over. With all the holidays I hadn't been for a few weeks.

Was just gorgeous! 50f, sunny and everything was just as I left it. Tractors all started fine and I found my laser/level setup charger that was MIA.

No sign of any real rain or snow, lots of horse poo, but none sighted this trip. Reset the trail cam as the solar rechargeable batteries didn't cut it.

Its pricy for bare metal vs just primer IMHO. I think it needs rust to really do its thing too.

Son is doing the frame on his sonoma now, just a solid layer of rust and using the rustolium spray converter.

I like the tires, but maybe fix the road too? I mean if you can't drive to say the barn thats not good. May keep some out, but never all. Though you had a nice gate up there?

Son loves the ICONs, but they cost more than the truck.

Drove across NB a few years back around Christmas. Was the longest flattest area I have ever drove through. Lots of cars in the ditches (everyone that past me) and I was no hurry.

Good luck!

My YW was like $120, hard to say no. I have a cutmaster 42 for general use and could swap.

Great strides on the whole compound build, table is icing and should help with the biz.

To mod is simple, just need to move the legs in flush on both sides. Then narrow the table, easy also. I want to add some hold down points and something in front for larger items

Well, I got this thing today. Been looking and had one lined up that was electric but the guy sold it on me! Wanted for working on the mill, lifting things onto the truck/trailer without a hoist and be a great workstand for many things.

This is pump, not a crank so it will do. Wesco 60in rated at 1000lb in pretty good shape. Has a locking tab on the rear rolls smooth.

I looked up the wrong model and it is several inches to wide for man doors I have. (31in, need 28in) Also had this weird plate on it that was off in a minute with a grinder. Looked like there were 2 but one was removed already.

Still thinking it over, but I may narrow it a few inches. Pretty easy just cutting the legs off and pushing them in some. We will see,,,,,,,,,,,

Been kinda nice here too. Rain but nothing like last year. Speaking of leaves though the front yard is nasty with those little buggers. Tree is finally done losing em though. Chopped of a branch that overhang the neighbors trailer. Now to see if I can top my tree. Getting out of hand and helps the solar too.

Well, I'll just stick with walked away for now. Inflation feels more like 20-30%, not even including fuel costs. Plus being on a fixed income doesn't help, best I see is 3%.

One reason we chose it, lots of parts!

What 305? Out of the elky, thats gone as well as the LS swap I had. An LS may be in the future though.

Him getting a DL in Kali being under 18 is a chore. Got his permit the other day, can't even practice until he gets a "paid" lesson. Then another 5 hours after that and when he gets his CDL he can't drive with anyone whos not under 25 for 6 months. Shoot, I walked in on the 16th and drove away!

Been ordering parts for this for the past week. Mostly little stuff, TBI kit, door pins, Battery hold down and such.

So the other day I tore the TBI apart, today it stopped raining so I got back on with my boy. Did a reseal on the TBI and it fired right up! Let it idle some, checked fluids and told my boy to jump in. Drove it down the street, seemed to shift good, sounded good (has a flowmaster). No powerhouse but it felt good, can't believe I drove a standard cab for a few years.

Stock is just 160hp, looking to bump it up some with bolt ons, maybe even a cam and rockers. Doing the TBI stuff first, simple spacer and air cleaner bowl.

We are talking cam, rockers and a 2.5 Rough Country lift, tires and a rear locker. He like the prerunner stuff and look.
