Cooking equipment / kitchenaid burr grinder
« on: December 31, 2016, 08:39:20 PM »
so my Cuisinart burr grinder (piece of crap) crapped out on me, and I found this on my door step one day!

I figured that if I was going to be gifted a new burr grinder, I should order some coffee from a true VETERAN OWNED COMPANY along with a 20oz titanium coffee and see how things stack up.

as you can see I am doing a live review of the drinking vessel (morning and evening beverages should be able to be enjoyed out of the same vessel).  once a proper review of this equipment has been conducted, I will report the findings for all.

well folks, I have been absent for the most part lately, because of some pretty significant life changing/altering events have occurred, mostly for the better!

so where to start?  how about this!

I am now a Class A CDL holder with Class B&C, tankers, doubles, triples, City bus, School bus, Cement mixer, Dump truck, Fire truck, Hazmat, forklift, ETC endorsements and certifications. thank you to all of you who have paid your taxes and made it possible for me to use $15k of my G. I. Bill.  now the Ironic/funny part!  the day I graduated, I turned right around and had a conversation with the president of the school and was offered a position as an instructor.  so I am now responsible for training people of all different back grounds (and believe you me there are some weirdo's out there) on how to become Truck drivers.  on top of that, the school that I now work for has just signed an 8 year multi million dollar contract with the US Army to train transitioning Soldiers thru tuition assistance on how to become truck drivers.

next, I have started the process of separating myself from the individuals in my life that were not conducive to good order and discipline.  ill just leave that one alone for now.

next, I have picked up a few things that I will test out for a while before I put up a full review in their perspective sections.  here is just a quick glimpse.

first is an alien gear IWB holster for my springfield sub compact XD 40

next is a pair of S&W Bodyguard .380 autos, 2 extra mags and a box each of hornaday critical defense 90 grn hollow points and federal HST 99 grn jhp rounds and 2 boxes of UMC FMJ target rounds (still undecided on which will be the permanent rounds.

and lastly is a kitchenaid burr grinder that I found on my door step one afternoon along with a BRC 20oz titanium coffee mug and a bag of their really strong coffee....lol

Had a little accident yesterday. I always tug test before raising the landing gear but I was on snow and the wheels just spun. So I raised them up and pulled ahead on dry ground. Better to drop it in the yard than on the road. I even visually inspected the jaws to see if they were closed on the king pin.  This truck sat out in the last snow storm turn out there was ice in the 5th wheel preventing it form locking all the way. 20 years with a CDL and never dropped a trailer. First time for everything.
Any damage?

All it did was pull the wires out of the pig tail plug.  Im really impressed with them plastic fenders. We were told you could drop a trailer on them in the middle of winter and they wouldn't break. They were right.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

now that's kind of funny considering that I am about to finish up my CDL Course................ ;D

3422
Don if you decide to dispose of your wheels...they'd look good on my featherlight. Feel free to shoot me a price if your so inclined. I can do cash, paypal, pink foam board, you name it.

The hose reel thing never works for me. I seem to prefer tripping over and untangling air lines and extension cords..must be a masochist issue or something. But your set up has me considering my options and working on my organization skills. This past week I lost a 3.5' crow bar in my living room while remodeling... still haven't found it. I assume someone moved it, but they all claim innocence. I ever find it again, I am spraying it day glow orange and attaching something large to it to prevent this in the future.

So curiosity.... why is the camper never leaving again?

so which wall did it get dry walled into.......................;D

so since dons seems to be in one a somber mood this morning, I thought I would share this video!

this song is about Jared Monti

3427
good song, with lots of meaning.  unfortunately, I am a bit played out on that song because FT. Sill played and still plays that every morning right after reveille.

3428
Don, this video show cases your boys in "Big Windy" in Kosovo around APR-JUN 2002.  all of these shots were in either Kosovo or Macedonia.

Just a thought but Don you could make some sections members only correct? I share longballs concern....I have no worries at all about anyone here just that someone might be able to see it who isnt part of this group.

Maybe someone could be nominated (and I would be willing to just so you know I'm not sitting here saying "someone should do something" w/o offering to help! :) ) to keep a list of all members with contact info. Then if a member needed to get in touch with someone pronto that person could PM them the info. I'd be happy to compile it in a spreadsheet or something and email it around or whatever if that would help. Just a thought as a way to get the info out there w/o making it all public.

Maybe a spreadsheet with user name, real name, address, email, cell # or something. Again, I'd be happy to do it if that would help. And maybe update it periodically (semi-annually or something).

Because we (real man website) go through a host, we dont have access to change functions such as what has been talked about.

I have started to put together a spread sheet as we have talked about above, i am just waiting so others have a chance to weight in with their thoughts before we move forward and have to change things 2-3 times.

made a pulled pork pie and 2 fatties last night.

http://cowgirlscountry.blogspot.com/2010/09/pulled-pork-pie.html

and the 2 fatties were: 1. stuffed with sautéed onions, bell peppers and chipotles and bacon wrapped  2. plain nekkid bacon wrapped!

james and dave, I got you guys updated.

don, what you are asking for is not possible at this time, because this site is going thru a host and we do not have the authority to re-write their script (software).  in order to accomplish what you are asking, we would have to be our own completely autonomous site with a dedicated code writer.

now, what we can do if folks want to weigh in on this is,

1. I can compile a spread sheet with folks contact info, and it can be shared with folks requesting it and the only info it would contain would be the info that people have given consent to be shared..........?

2.  I can compile a spread sheet with folks contact info, and share specific info of the people being sought as long as I would have their specific consent to do so..........?

3. suggestions / guidance

What kinda finish you looking at. I mean the pink is OK, but,,,,,,,,,,

Where is Nate at on this? I mean I had a couple dainty faded red straps on fuel tanks yesterday & you would have thought I pee'd in his cheerios. Meanwhile Don tries turning the hide site into a breast cancer awareness fundraiser & not a peep from the cheap seats?!?  ???

he gets one more weekend, then again he might get 2 (because of the boot that he is still supposed to have on from said wheelie, but chooses to wear mandals with socks.) because I think the geritol dosage may have to get upped to assist with the bone (or is that bone head) repair.....;D

I just wanted to open say thank you to our heavenly father for assisting me in my time of darkness by placing people in my life that can help me stay on a straight path and to keep focused on what is important in my life.  I would also like to say thank you to those that have assisted with counsel.

one last thing that I want to say thank you for and to ask for from our heavenly father is our men and women who are currently deployed and protecting our freedoms.
