Maybe I need to take a two hour drive and come take a listen before I buy anything ;)  Once you get them installed and hooked up that is.

Yessir Sam! Getting pumped... and stressed! I have to landscape the front... calculated 1900 sq ft of sod just for the front. Plus prep and everything. My buddy has a skid steer and has offered to help, and my grampa just bought a 3032e Deere so we should have some hydraulic assistance there.

Interior cleaning date is scheduled for Nov. 9, should be in by Thanksgiving...

Here's some more pics.

Kyle, Looking great!  Family room fireplace/TV/cabinets (I'm assuming) looks like mine. I built all that earlier this year. Just need a bigger TV now... That's a 46", need a 60-70".

That tile in the kitchen and bath are exceptionally clean. Nice choices on counter top also. Do you have a pot fill faucet above the stove there?

This is actually the second time it's been painted. Sherwin Williams transposed the paint codes initially, and they used the dark color for the whole house and the light gray in the gables. I about lost my lunch when I saw it, but the paint company fessed up and paid to have the whole house repainted

Well almost done...

Quite a downer today, my safe was supposed to be delivered and moved upstairs but it was too big. Have to switch from a Liberty Fatboy to the Liberty Franklin 35. Still a nice safe (only 6" narrower, which will fit up the stairs), but won't be in until Dec 16th

No, that would have been nice though. Towards the end, I had to keep my powder dry as there were a couple bigger things I needed to "negotiate" shall we say...

They did go above and beyond on some things tho that I'm super pumped about.... They Y'd off a stub from the main septic line  to tie into later which is awesome, ran the water main all the way back to the shop which I wasn't expecting, stuff like that... I'll take that over being picky about recepticals. Besides, I need them to give me a deal on shop construction next spring ;)

I've got the same mickey mouse crud on my exterior. I think it's bare min code here in WA on new construction. Clear plastic covers on outdoor outlets.

Looking really tight there. Glad to see you didn't get some aesthetic adjustments from the wind storm.

That looks awesome!!! (wife is cute too, you and Don are lucky)

Like the wood and stone mix. How much is carpeted?

With all that did you think of doing solar later or some stand alone system? I am adding a second inverter now that works when the grid is down.

Kyle, looking good.

When I told my builder I was putting a large safe on the second floor, he asked me where and told me that he needed to beef up that area with some extra bracing.  While it may weigh what a bathtub weighs, its on a 1/3 of the surface area.

Yeah luckily no trees down. Lots of branches though. The rest is getting logged pretty quick.

Upstairs is all carpet, and family room down. Everything else wood down.

No solar, the front of the house faces to the south, so there's no good place to put panels that wouldn't be wham right in your face. I am prewired for generator backup though.

Yes I'm a lucky dude, my wife is much better looking than I am haha... But I'll have you know she's 50% polish, 50% sweedish, and 100% crazy LOL. She'd tell you the same thing!

Everything except landscaping is DONE. Just got done with the walk through with our builder, and here's how she sits as of now

My safe will rest dead nuts center on the biggest beam in the house, so I'm good to go. Happened by chance, but I'll take it!

This is the beam
