Didnt they cave and stop the practice to preserve their military contracts?

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

I believe they stopped in 2010 or 2011 for all G contracts. Civilians still have it
