Jon, my truck still blows really cold sitting and running.    I am going to tear into the front tonight if I have time in between smoking three pizzas!!  Ha I love my smoker!

Depends on how far apart you plan on taking it Dave. If you're pulling the Rad -- absolutely. Your LBZ has no radiator petcock to drain it, so its pull the lower rad hose and have a big drain pan under there...

I live by Travis, seems about normal. Mainly transport and refuel aircraft. The real stuff come out of Beale a little north of here.

I just heard N Korea threatened to lob a missile at Guam.

I've been threatening to clean out my stack for a while now. It's due for a full service so I may have to add that to the list.

Father in law and I finished replacing the underlayment today while managing to stay ahead of the floor guys. Next up is attempting to finish the chicken coop and yard fence before the baby is born.

I just did a oil change and flushed the power steering fluid. WOW, the brakes feel great but it didn't fix the slop.

Get her up in the air and do a full shake down. the IFS fronts on these have tons of places that play could show up, but usually pittman/idler arms are 1st suspects, inner/outer tie rod ends, steering box itself, internally and mounting bolts, ball joints and bearing hub assemblies. Have someone, wife/neighbor/kid sit in the driver's seat while you hold the wheel and watch what steering components move around that shouldn't.

Pretty sure its in the box or rag joint. I have the full cognito setup on the front so thats about all that is left. Just had the tires balanced and rotated.

I have gone through several upper ball joints. Hard to diagnose but sounds like a clunk when driving. You have to jack up the lower a arm to find it. Can't tell if you jack up the whole truck or with weight on the wheel.

I haven't felt or heard any clunks. It just wants to wander in the lane and sometimes I feel a change in resistance as I'm turning the steering wheel.

You'll hear the clunk when you hit a bump.

On the trans cooler, did some reading. Seems like real world driving only yields 10-20 cooler. Lot of coin for 20*, but it all helps.

We've been hauling manure out of the near by feed lot lately. They pay $100 an hour per truck. Half way through the second week my trailer decided it didn't want to work anymore.  If you ask me there are too many moving parts. I push a button in the cab. That activates a switch that sends  air to a hydraulic valve that dumps the trailer. The actuator on the hydraulic valve is sticking. I get it to the dealer. They contact the factory. They dont use that system anymore. So now they have to contact the company that makes the thing. Who knows where that is. Waiting game now. This has been a bad a summer for stuff breaking down on me.

Went to work early, had 2 cups of coffee while doing some training. Ran to the cafeteria and got biscuits and gravy, eggs and hashbrowns, which saved my morning.

I will say, the room inside was nice, the power was what felt like less than my LBZ and I love all of the interior styling

Ken, is that BH for a skid loader or tractor 3 pt? I had a bradco for my 90hp Massey & loved that thing once I rerouted the hydraulics to get enough flow

LLY and it stayed in Georgia. Wasn't as nice as it looked from the pictures, needed some major front end work, and had very little power. He had a sensor (turbo related) sitting in the console but didn't have a clue how to put it in. Between the front end, being 4 hrs from home at 1800, and the sensor I didn't think it was worth the price.

Still works great JR. I use the mill pretty often.

Shawn, neither. It is a direct mount for JDs...that's the issue. NHC's compact tractors used a carriage/subframe type system for their factory hoes. JD makes several different mounting brackets that bolt to the rear axle and transmission for each different model. I got a set with the hoe (like 8 separate heavy brackets) that I'm going to try and modify/cut/weld/bend/trash to fit the NHC. Ought to be worth it...this hoe is 1400lbs...about 500 more than the china ones.

Whats wrong a with a standard 3 point? So much dedicated stuff on something that should be simple.

Decided we are going up to see the eclipse next week. About a 1000 mile round trip and the kids miss a day of school.

But we figure its a once in a lifetime here in the states, so its a go. I have seen partials and the kids keep talking about it, so what the heck.

Going up early sunday (no wife unit) in my moms camry. Maybe find a motel a hour or so away and do the final trip miles in the AM. All online motels close are booked so a little more searching is in order on that side. Otherwise we sleep out, see the bugger and drive home.

Looks like we are sleeping out. Slime motels are $500 a night. Saw a few for $1200.

Its only 1 day really, well about 30 hours. Salem area will be crazy everywhere so I plan to go up via Bend. Much more to see and we plan on being there the night before.

Long day of travel but back in the good ol' USofA. Great time with the family and saw a ton of Italy. Pretty cool walking streets from 1000 years ago, or church's from 500 AD, and villages from 400-500 BC! Pretty wild. Got some pics I'll post up when I get them all loaded up online. Took about 200 a day. Some I'm sure will be boring, but some came out pretty good I think. Still getting the hang of the new camera but overall a win.

Ken, not sure what your plan is for attaching that bugger but my mf4609 had a category 2 hitch & if MF knew I had that hoe attached it would have voided warranty. I've heard of guys tearing them off the back of their tractors which is why the smaller units a lot of them at least use that frame reinforced undercarriage. I'm sure you'll get it figured out.

Spent the day canoeing with a friend of mine. We usually run set lines but today was rod and reel. Did pretty good. We both caught the biggest we ever have on rod reel. Didn't weigh them we cleaned them and fried them up as soon as we got home. I actually had 2 firsts. Biggest on rod and reel and my first ever Blue Catfish.

Looks like we are sleeping out. Slime motels are $500 a night. Saw a few for $1200.

Its only 1 day really, well about 30 hours. Salem area will be crazy everywhere so I plan to go up via Bend. Much more to see and we plan on being there the night before.
I haven't paid attention, where is the total seen from, as in best location?

Got about 3 inches of rain last night, the most I've seen at this property. Just went for a muddy ranger ride...counted 22 centipedes, 1 diamondback, and 2 scorpions. Seems like everyone got displaced! lol
