Well finally installed tap talk...
Few more days in Ottawa until we're all wrapped up.
Trying odometer pic from a while ago.
We didn't have six inch target indicators for the 500 meter match so we created the most Canadian version possible.

I had to do a double take on the 200 on the speedo thinking it was MPH.

Today I intalled my 28 inch bar and chain on my husky 372xp and went and cut up the rest of a huge oak tree that had gone down in the storm at a neighbors house.  much more impressive saw with a 28 on it.

Still have a 32 on order.

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

Wow

Double axle dump trailer on a SUV

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is that a tandem dual?? Isn't that technically illegal to tow without a CDL?

It was a random dually trailer. As for legality I am not sure but there was no sag so I assume it was empty but still insane!!!

I don't think it was illegal, if I recall correctly it goes by the vehicle towing it and gross weight maybe? They treated our dually cummins as a semi, so that's why we needed class A cdl to pull the dual wheel tandem axle flat deck trailer.....

In texas is has to do with the gvwr of the truck and trailer. If both exceed 26000, even though they may be empty then you just have class a license. It's not illegal if he had the right license and the rear axle of the SUV was not over limit.

Son got stopped by Mi DOT and ticket for no CDL on the work dually Truck's Gross is 12,300 lbs, Trailer Gross 14,000 lbs so he said needed CDL because over 26,000 total.  Read the rules and unless the truck is rated total GVWR over 26,00 lbs then don't need CDL , The Dodge they have is only rated to 21,500 lbs total. Son took it to court and Judge thew it out said the same thing. So my take is for Mi you can tow that dual tandem trailer with a smaller truck say a 3/4 ton and not over GVWR and not need a CDL.

All of that is true!  but the 1 and only thing that truly matters is if there is a D.O.T. #, period plain and simple.

An example is a diesel pusher RV with an enclosed trailer behind it.  The RV alone weighs over 26k and you do not need to have a class A, B or C rating on your license.

It goes by GVW here in Ca, but they throw length and brakes in too when they get big.

Kills me when I see a Tundra pulling a huge trailer with 5 lug wheels!!!

That looks good, MEAT!

So this happened today...

I took the championship. I'll tell y'all, it's a lot easier riding the chair than carrying it.

Here's the breakdown.
1st match 11
1st stage one aggregate 11-14
1st team of 8 stage one
1st falling plates
1st match 15 stage 2
1st overall

A pretty epic year for me!

Dave, that there is what we call a voodoo dent.  Its a small dent that wards off major damage.  Repair those at your own risk....as soon as there is no damage, more damage comes.  Keep the voodoo dent and the truck is safe from further damage.

right after i first got it and it was still 12 inch lift and 37s, I went to visit a friend in an apartment complex and there was a call box visitor lane.  I had to lean way down and punch in the code.  When I went to drive forwawrd the lane curved and I took the entire call box off the post.  Its been that way for 3 years now and no further dents....

Congrats longball! That is great!

Well done Sam! You didn't bring a whip to get the carryers to go faster?

Had a good weekend. My son and I left for northern Maine Friday am. We spread some of my Dad's ashes in a trout stream up there. While a quick trip and a lot of driving, it was a really great time in some of God's country. It was a place my Dad loved and I'm glad a part of them will be there for eternity.  A bunch of really cool stuff happened on this trip. I'm going to do a thread on it with some pics of the area.

Fatherhood is such a blessing

Watching my son play football this past Saturday, the love and pride was welling up to such a degree...

You can't get that feeling alone. God provided us a key to unlock another world of blessing for us to enjoy.

So

Power seat and heated seat stopped working in my 2007 duramax,  I can't log into the other place for some reason, I can't find a fuse location either.  Ideas suggestions before it goes to the dealer on Wednesday?

Think my heated seats stopped working sometime back. Never really used em. Probably a relay.

Kids blew up the lumbar on the pass side.

Check the connections under the rear of the drivers seat.
Mine was all but burnt up on one or two of the pins.
Pulled them out and used spade connectors on them.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

Checked fuses all seem good. Relays I haven't gotten to.
