Compressor and power recommendations

Hey all. I'm going to be starting wiring on the shop soon. Need to know how much juice to run to the compressor room so I can tell the sparky what I need.

Will either go with a 60gal or 80gal upright, probably 60 unless somebody talks me out of it. Nothing fancy like some of you guys have... I don't have the time or the know-how for a rebuild of an older unit. Don't want to go as cheap as Husky or Kobalt, but not as expensive as top brands I've never heard of.

It seems for some of the 60s, 30amp would be sufficient? 230 volt

The husky would be more than enough for what you need imo.
I would consider an 80 gal though.  It will keep the pump from cycling as much, which in turn makes the electrical components last longer,  with less power consumption.

Thanks for the feedback!

If you plan on using air to blow out the sprinkler lines, the 80 will be better.
