Handmade Knife
« on: October 31, 2020, 09:27:59 AM »
I’m not a knife maker but I picked this up at a charity auction yesterday after a golf tournament. Collin Campbell was a 24 year old triathlete who drowned in the swimming portion of his last competition. I’ve known his mother for 20 years. She keeps his memory alive by holding this event each year. Bob Hughes, a friend of the family made the knife but I do not know him. This knife apparently is made from Damascus steel brought back to the states by a military friend from Syria / Pakistan. Pictures do not do it justice. It’s the first custom knife I’ve ever bought and one I will cherish.

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.
