This is probably a very bad idea because I already watch way too many YouTube videos but with the recent AvE discussions I thought I would throw my Top 5 list on here.
AvE is probably #1 just for his commentary as well as reviews. Funny and informative.
RR Buildings - I watch every one of his video's. Amazing precision for a post frame building. Too far away to build mine. :(
Keith Rucker - VintageMachinery.org - Amazing Machining and Restoration videos. I also have SHOP envy.
Essential Craftsman - First started watching for Blacksmith and Building vids. Common sense kind of guy.
SV Seeker - Basically built a steel ship in his back yard from scratch.
Clarion Project - Very interesting take on Islam from Muslim's
Also Ran's:
Machine Thinking - Amazing machining especially his Perfect Timing device he made for a guy in France's marble machine. I was looking for ideas on how to make a better ratchet strap.
Keith Fenner - Another full time incredible machinist.
hickok45 - Gotta have him.
ElementalMaker - The AvE of chemistry.
allthingsbbq - And for Nate and TRN.. :)

I agre on Ave. Very entertaining.
Became sort of addicted to the Marble machine (Wintergatan). Pretty cool engineering, very talented young man.
Lately been watching Letsdig18 and other construction/logging channels to clear the mind (no politics).
SV seeker, Acorn to Arabella and Sampson Boat Co (my favorite boat restoration) are pretty fascinating...I mean, who builds a steel hulled ship in Oklahoma?

Stumbled upon this video and since I don't understand Russian I had no idea what it was about... pretty cool stuff.
So, apparently the Soviets kept a pretty precise record of where they lost equipment in WW2.... frozen lakes, marshes, etc. Over time, the tanks sink pretty deep and they're fairly well preserved.
There's a group that researches and locates the vehicles for recovery. That's the part I was fascinated with. Some are down 30 feet. Video quality sucks but it is what it is.

Some sunk so fast that the crew couldn't escape. I think this is one of them.

Been watching lots of off grid stuff. Some hokey, some pretty good. Still may go that way. Neighbors did it for 30k, not crazy when you look at running power lines.
I get hooked on stupid people vids to much, gotta love em!

I dont watch a whole lot of you tube unless I looking for how to fix something but I do watch one lonely farmer. Hes pretty funny and tells it as it is.

If you have the time, this is pretty good.
