Without any hope of an electric infrastructure to support millions of cars/trucks, liberal Europeans seem to be rushing headlong into the age of EV's

What is happening???

I did some additional research and discovered that as of the end of production year 2022, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Suzuki are culling production. They are dropping a combined 20 models from their lineup. They flatly said they are gearing up for the eventual and coming phasing out of gasoline-powered engines. They admitted that standards for emissions were barely achievable and with new lower emissions targets, they will not be able to comply

This is coming up real fast. It will affect us here in the US of A. The biggest car makers of the world VW and Toyota spreads out their costs over a variety of euro, Asian, and US models. With no Euro offset now totaling something like 34 countries, those car prices would skyrocket and make them no longer competitive. Oddly enough, I believe the big three here in the US would possibly be the benefactors.

It's coming fast like a big block-powered brick wall.

Yep, libs love all this. When you control the movement of the population, you control the population.

Unless some politicians with clear heads on this start pointing out it will happen by attrition vs forcing it on everyone, we are in great trouble.

Many of us will only need a strong leader, something like a retired/decorated general to lead the march on washington...

Wanna bet they'll casually forget all about this decision when they start figuring out the grid won't support it? The EU does like to virtue signal while not actually doing anything (AHEM, Paris Climate Accords).

I'm tracking
Europe is experiencing growing pains right now. I see this latest announcement as a somewhat open and desperate attempt of established governments to maintain control and abide by the wishes of the old ruling class Euro money (Bilderberg group). Notice the outright mini-revolution in the Netherlands? News has been keeping it quiet, but police are firing on farmers who are protesting coming rules which will put them out of business. It's crazy, but somehow the farmers acquired a tank!

Wow! Wait until they get really fed up and start breaking the dams!

Didn't some Lancaster bombers do that, say 78 years ago?

Note: Dams, not dikes or levees...

They are doing that now in Ka and Or, saying its for the fish. Lancasters dropped a "rolling bomb' that was spun up, skip dropped and rolled right the dams base.

We have little water here, population has doubled and no new storage. About 6 dams were supposed to go in,,,,,,,,

World still runs on fuel, not electricity. Its day will come when the storage, charging and price work for consumers.

Agree completely. Anyone thinking we will transition the world to electric power in years is a fool. Decades, as in several we could.
Think about it. There was an era of horse-drawn transportation. Then came steam-powered things, which gave way to internal combustion. That has been our mainstay since, what, the 1920's?

But we, this generation(s) of folks on this website will see the transition to where electric power becomes the mainstay. It is coming, I have no doubt. But for all of our lives, there will be some form of diesel operating or turbine, powered by burning something explosive.

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.
