Thanks for posting this.  I remind myself every day that I am fortunate to have an accepting and supportive bride!
It helps to state the obvious sometimes. They are our greatest asset.

Yes, it makes great lard. A friend does her own pigs. I've seen her put the fat in a big pot and simmer it all day.

Congrats on a nice gift!

I've got a NF NXS 3.5-15 that is great. Might be a good fit for the Sig.

My lovely bride with a nice Coho she caught. We did a lot of fishing from the beach this season and did well. Lots of fillets in the freezer. Good dinner a night ago.

 along with Quigley Down Under.

In the 90's I was a member of a range east of Denver. A bunch of the guys shot black powder cartridge rifles, Sharps, Hepburns etc. You could watch those big lead bullets in flight as they arrived at targets out to 500 yds. That was some fun shooting!

I also have the KO2s. I've had them in rain and snow and so far so good. Put them on my w350 last November.

I spent most of 30 yrs building boats and have seen lots of expensive 2 part paint. Most all of it good. I also spent time as engineer on a 100' charter boat in AK. At haulout we painted with a Sherwin Williams one part. It worked great. Lots of work boats go this route. Sounds right for BR.

Firearms / Re: If there was only one weapon.....
« on: August 08, 2015, 10:20:14 PM »

If I'm able to travel in my w350 I'd probably take my 870. If on foot or kayak or othertwise restricted I'd take the S&W 686. Old school reliabilty, maueverability, portabilty. Never malfunctions and likes any ammo I give it.

well said Norm.. thank you.

I've read about the Bilderberg group for years. Recent attendees to their annual meetings include Hillary and Tim Geithner.

This is excellent. I'm not familiar with Fred Reed but he has things well thought out. Iwould add Wall Street and bankers along with the other owners of Washington.

Financial Prep / Re: Purchasing bullion

Add to this the problem of near zero interest. Penalizing savers, rewarding debtors and providing astronomical profit to bankers.
Bullion and other hard assets are the only way.

thanks! this will come in handy. going back and forth from US/Canada it seems that almost daily i'm using miles/kilometers, gallons/liters, inches/metric etc. and the currency exchange rate... until it all collapses....
