So I am really behind on this project, since we brought my son home from the hospital yesterday and I haven't finished his bassinet yet, but I will show project pictures here of the solid cherry bassinet that I am building for him.

Well I have a basket sans bottom and feet...need to do the uprights, the cross stretcher, and the floor for the basket...so I should be done by 2037 or so...

Ken, if I could read I wouldn't be a D.O.T, and certainly not an officer! We never read, we just make s*** up as we go!

Well after a rough night Wednesday, I was able to salvage some terrible initial cutting work on my part into some decent uprights. Only took about 5 hours with the drill press mounted drum sander!
Gotta love those times you spend twice the time repairing your own screwups...

For the record...there are 2 pieces there, just stacked and temporarily screwed together to sand them and make them match.
