What your area look like? Coyote brown/tan is always a good choice. Dirtier and older it gets the easier it blends with the environment. Green works well in the woods, but what are you going to do in the winter when there isn't much green? You can always darken lighter colors but its harder to lighten darker colors.

It never made any difference to me what color the stuff was as issued, I pretty much always sprayed over it with various colors, then dust/dirt/then wear and tear did the rest
