Fenix UC 35

Fenix vs streamlight DS

Vs. surefire x300u

Vs. surefire scout

Not enough time in hand for full blown review but for an imported light I would put it in the Toyota category as opposed to Kia...  It sure lights up a scene! Ask my kids, wife, dogs, cats and deer how disorienting it is to take a blast to the face! On strobe it is almost nauseating!

It will run on 123 batteries as well as the rechargeable battery it comes with. Charges via any USB outlet! My Eton radio will charge it as well as my laptop, my home computer, cell phone charger, battery jumper box, and my solar mat...

Fenix makes some pretty good stuff.  I have a couple.  I really like these two that I have.  The headlight is 365 lumens and dimmable.  Makes hiking and working under the truck really nice.

But this is my favorite of all, a 190 lumen tiny 1 cell  CR123 battery light with 4 light levels and strobe and small enough to make sure you have it where ever you go.

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

So, Bobby...being the calculating trained warrior NCO that you are.  Take the appropriate action, Execute!
your standard grunt level CQB is just putting rounds and rounds on scary stuff till it stops scaring you!

Hope you don't mind Blaine, but I have a bit of experience with that brand.
I've been using the Fenix PD35 for a few months, at work, multiple times throughout the day, and then at the house on occasion with a couple camping trips thrown in. It's a GREAT light for the money IMO. Great run time. I've dropped it in a tub of antifreeze once, dropped on concrete multiple times. I take the battery out and throw it in the charger about once a week before turning in, and it hasn't lost any (noticeable) run time.
Sadly it makes some of my more expensive lights seem subpar.
Only gripe (and it's a small one) is that you have to pull the batt to recharge. This one takes the 18650 battery but haven't tried a non-rechargeable to check run time.
The lens is not focusable and I haven't found a need for it to be.
This is the PD35 kit I purchased:

Excellent! I'm glad it's worked out for you! The only difference between mine and yours is the charging unit is integrated into the light itself. Makes the light a little longer. I am convinced we aren't very far from light saber technology if these companies keep doing what they're doing!

Very interesting reading thanks for the review. My wife may find something like this to be a useful companion in her suitcase/purse device. I may get her one for her B day.

I just upgraded my mag light to a LED bulb, that's as high tech as I get. Rare I have any need for a flashlight I guess.

Diggin up an old thread but this light is a win in my book

Our shop yard is really dark due to surrounding homes crying about our yard being so bright.  So the boss purchased the truck drivers these for our pre-trip inspection

Milwaukee USB Rechargeable Pivoting LED https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KFMRCQ9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_F7RY4MNNXVGCA9642193?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Well tonight I was stuck running a hoe in the dark and the lights were dead on the equipment so… I grabbed my trusty light and tossed it on the boom and bingo!!!

When on the pay role lol

The local water company is paying money to take out park strip grass to conserve water, my mom has 300’ of sod that I’ll remove and place gravel instead.  When I can break the frost line I guess.   I got maybe 125’ dug last night

What's the word for that... nepotism?
Naw, I can't think of it right now.
