Went on a overnighter fishing trip with the boys. Had a nice oatmeal/sausage breakfast.

Broke in the Savage 22, swab, shot, swab. Didn't have cleaning gear handy so I grabbed a glow stick cord and cut up some patches. Used dmax atf on the patches. Kids liked the reflex sight, but said open were still better  This thing is screaming for a can.

Caught a few fish, guess whats for dinner! (recipes welcome) Knife is about 8 inches for ref.

I am not overly impressed with my weathertechs. They fit OK, but could be way better. They seem to want to curl up and away from the edges. The stupid little screw thing just comes out and I have resorted to small screws for the drivers mat as it keep getting stuck in the door also. And the passenger side has never been the same after 1200 with a boy scout up there. Wish my rear seats folded up, the little mat for the back is a joke for $100.

I do need something for the drivers seat though (no sheepskin though) as after 11 years it is showing some wear.

Maybe there will be a class action or something keeping the old status quo. All of a sudden 1000's need to pay hundreds to keep a service that was free?

I never really licked linking things but always posted smaller pics for that reason.

Yep, great score. Half of what you do reminds me of the "dirty jobs" show.

So did you wash them or assign a pre ranger to it?

Just run a bolt through that thing. New switch can be more than 20$ and no interlocks on that ol thing.

You should be able to run the vin and get the gears or maybe the build sheet is in the glovebox, if you dare open it,

Going fishing the am guys, bought a 3 kayak today. Hoping Ice House will yeild some nice ones this time of year. Staying until Wed, but have good cell up there (near rubicon entrance)

Dave, looks like you are wearing a mask there. What did that set you back?

I feel your pain. My daughter got away with a retainer. My 2 youngest boys will need braces.

Sent from my VK810 4G using Tapatalk

This is 3 of 3 now. Daughter didn't need em, but wife did it. Youngest has a very crowded mouth and oldest boy has a overbite and knocked out his baby front teeth when he was younger. Sucked all the MSA I had, so much for an emergency.

I have french drains around the pool and other drains for the downspouts so I am good there, all hand dug little 4 inches.

2200 here, still 96* out there, kids just got out of the pool. Now I get to watch a movie.

I like the quick throw ring, need to look into that.

20rd on the ar keeps it flush with the grip so if the grip clears you should be good.

Anyone tried the new 25rd Magpul's?

I jumped on the intake bandwagon even though I am running around 500hp. Never noticed a thing.

As for bearings, I don't think the turbo has them vs just pressure oil lube.

Always check around. Had good luck with Kennedy and knowing the LBZ turbo is good is better, I'm going 140k on mine.

I have the blocker and the PCV reroute. Seeing what was in the egr glad I did it. I get a little dribble from the PCV, so it may not hurt, but really don't want in the intake.

We were at Counsel Bluff, 2 sites north.

Shot my first black powder too. Cut the 2x4 in a shoot off beating the staff.

Then shot another 10 rounds the next day. Bell was grown over but I hit everything else and the Elk at 120 yards.

Finally got caught up with this. Broken, fixin, welding, buying, digging and wall building.

That ought to provide for few days of water and even a shower or 2.

I like the mulch and rocks, looks homey.

I feel for you Jon. Thank god my trip was uneventful although the EGTs crept up a little on some long grades.

The 13 hour drive both ways with kids was taxing. 9 driving hours, then add meals and pee stops.

I got a new controller for my meth system but haven't wired in yet.

52 gal tank is nice. Full when left, topped in Salem in and out. Arrived home with 3/4 tank. Ran in 5th all the way, 1950 rpm at 75. Motorload was around 30% and 50% in 6th with egt about the same.

I just hate getting sick, to much to do. With wifey working they still have to get done.

If the tires are good on the trailer you should be OK. U haul has a funny way of seeing if a vehicle fits. I said I was hauling a truck, the suburban wouldn't clear.

As for the W/D, normally I repair. However the washer top is rusting and the ignitor was out on the dryer. Both units are well over 10 years old. (kenmore)

Got back from scout camp on Sat evening. 608 both ways says Tom, Dmax said it was 1196 total so speedo is pretty close. Got right at 20mpg. Back was stuffed doing 75 most of the time. I got something the last day and it is worse now.

When I got home it was like a renter had moved in. Found the pool shut down as the salt clorinator leaked, that may fried the booster pump bearings. Dryer quit the day before we left, bought a new washer/dryer today, will finish today. Handle came off the oven, no one could use a phillips so just put the handle on the stove. Front toilet wouldn't flush, handle was loose, to much work to remove the lid and tighten it.

I still feel like crud, kids are playing in the washer box. I watched 2 recorded nascar races.

Canning & Food Storage / Re: Cooler that doesn't break the bank
« on: July 03, 2017, 11:52:23 PM »
After 1196 miles and 8 days I am back (late Sat) Used prime and got the tray for it just before we left, kept the dogs out of the ice.

Cooler did OK, not stellar but good. With pre cooling and adding ice on weds all stayed cold. I think a block would have been better.

So 8 days, 1 refill and cold on the return. That was with 105* on the way up an mid 90s on the way back. Oh, and Sunday it still had ice in it.

Oh, and unlike a regular cooler this has rubber feet so you have to lift to move it around. It also drains FAST with a 1.75 drain that will take ice with it.Would I get another, yes.

Would I pay $250 for it no, but well worth the $100. I also wish I had got the tan cooler, this shows all the dirt!
