Pray on it Don......REGARDLESS of the final decision/outcome: This project is what built this site- that little factor has paid tremendous dividends in multiple areas. Most importantly, the seeds sown and some already harvested in Christ?s name. You know some of those names Don (some we don?t and may never) and I know that they are worth more than ALL the money each one of us have expended on topics covered on the Real Man site!

God will provide the answer, solution and resolution.....God bless YOU for putting together the framework that has allowed this merry band of misfits who would have likely never crossed paths otherwise!

This is exactly how I feel. In my case not so much the truck build as the group that was formed by it.

Ken, looking  at the photo, I think there is room for a small GPS/ guidance system, heat/blood sensor, and coffee mug  on the bow.

I think giving over info to .gov requests is pretty easy to buy in on though....

And that is why I do not have an account there or most any place else

Ken, key drops might be ok for early morning drop off, but why would someone want to leave a rig parked in front of a repair shop for a weekend or even overnight? If  broken into, the owner would sue you for not having a secured drop off area. I think you didn't need that customer anyway.

I have used masking tape for that, I always thought the pressure did away with the tape before the bullet ever got to the end of the barrel. Like you say accuracy never suffered from using it for whatever reason.

I don't know, but to me these two look serious. After chatting with them for awhile, they believe the engine is not times properly. So job one will be to get the thing running.
Next will be to address the brake issue. Finally I'll likely get them to wire in the transmission or get it dialed in so that I should at the end of this have something ready for the alignment shop

I like how they're wearing surgical gloves so as to not cross contaminate the other vehicles there for treatment with whatever ailment might be lurking under the hood!

"the believe the engine is not timed properly"........where have we heard THAT before?  Certainly the DOT Choir sang that Christmas Carol about a year ago!

I had to take  quick look at who posted this....Sounded more like a Shawn thing to me...

« on: November 29, 2017, 01:48:03 PM »

All 3 good choices, I tend to think the "old folks home" members have most everything they need, good food, warm environment, and caring staff. A  card wishing them a Merry Christmas would be as nice as anything to them.

Either of the other two options would be nice, a needing mom trying to provide for her family would be my first pick.

JR, if the edges were not the problem, that just leaves the rest of the sloping roof with the shingles running the wrong way. I see you covered the whole thing with rolled roofing so hopefully that took care of the problem.

Think the stairway roof having all the shingles upside down and disturbed  along the sawed edges contributed to the leak?

You should look at some ladder adjustable feet from Sherwin Williams or another supplier. That new ladder will have you a long way up in in the air.

Sorry to hear your awning went to the big awning heaven in the sky. All the dealers of those things say to bring them in if winds are forecasted. If you want to leave one out while you are gone or sleeping while the wind is blowing, you need to build something that holds up to the winds in your area, metal over a wood framed roof system. You can screw around trying to improve the wind resistance but those things are not made for wind...

Son and I headed out this morning and he bagged a nice two point black tail buck. An hour or so drive and walk in hunting behind a locked gate. About the only timber company left in the state that doesn't charge to hunt on their land.

No rain in any of the photos, how did you manage that? My son and I got very wet out hunting this morning but did manage to bring one buck home.

Been more years than I care to think about but when ours were 2 months or so we started mixing a small amount of cereal with the formula. Thanks Grandma, yes they were hungry as the formula alone did not fill them up. If problems continue too long, a trip to the Doc may be in order.

I really like the looks of those walls, not too high behind them but still a very nice retaining wall set up. Keep the outfall end of the drainage open and you should never have a problem.

Hi all, went to the doctor today, all is well as the spots on my lung have not grown. Looks like the colon cancer and other spots are all in the rear view at this time. A big thank you for all the thoughts and prayers from a great bunch of guys. May God watch over you and yours, thanks so much for having him look over me these past months.

A service advisor with a sense of humor....I hate dealing with dealer service advisors as most of them know absolutely nothing but how to write a name in a time slot.  Trying to explain a problem with my truck or car is like talking to a post most of the time. All I get is the deer in the headlight look and end up talking to a mechanic on the phone or the shop finding nothing wrong with the rig when I go back to pick it up.

I could have used both options. The jeep worked good, one shot free hand about 200 yds didn't. Tag soup once again but had a good time.

New and way to nice to ever use as a shop area. Haven't you looked at the photos of the other shops on this site. Most are clean and tidy but man you are way overboard, that place is nicer than my living room area.
