as for revenue... whatever "profit" i make from this venture gets rolled into new designs and towards building a farm that we can have homeschool families/special needs kids visit to interact with animals and nature.

Well guys, since we are talking about it, I have been playing with a symbol. We created something early on in 2014 and printed it on T-shirts. But I wanted something more universal, subtle, and memorable

I came up with the thing pictured. A Nautical compass because we navigate through the travails of life. The compass indicates the many directions there are, which we may take,

This compass points to a distant cross on a hill. It suggests that we navigate and our true north is the cross. That men of this place navigate through life with a spiritual true north that is the Christ.

It is not done, but I like it so far, and I wanted to give it a long time and thought before presenting it to the members here

Kyle talked about hiring someone to help the site with branding, question is, is this the "brand?"

i spent a good part of my life doing branding and logo design. we can take that design and simplify it and get it down to a simple logo that's easily recognizable. kinda like arfcom.

serious, i could do a patch. i've already done one for a forum i founded and used to own.

Stewie, I would bet, if you digitized the image he has posted above, made it and then sent pictures directly to Big D he would approve or rather disapprove and send back for corrections. Once a final was agreed upon he'd probably be ok with it.... maybe. I had the desire to do such thing and talked to him about it before Christmas, but things have changed and I will not be doing it.

Just keep it with Don until it's fully approved then post up the results. That's my thought, which is about as good as a half cent so take it for what it's worth.
