Not to mentioned Gavin Newsome signed a law into effect that allows the judges to recognize MAP, Minor Attracted Persons as a sexual orientation for adults who have sex with kids as long as they are 14 years old and the sex is “consensual”.

Sounds like a little more than mild.
Should be nice. PPE manifolds or the 1/2 price knockoff stuff.
The bottom and fuel will be enough to handle 700RWP but I’ll keep the tunes a little more mild. You really only have one chance while it is out to keep the bottom together even it you decide to turn it up later. Manifolds, pipes and even injectors can be done with the motor in the truck. I don’t ever want to have to pull the motor again. Bottom should be good to 1000, but I’ll never run it that hot. I want another 200k out of it. Will be interesting to see if I can get away without boring the cylinders and new pistons. maybe a slight hone and new rings. Still have some research to do there. Certainly a new set of micrometers is in my future as I tear it down and measure everything. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Little update here. Been pushing fluid out the reservoir, aka head gasket failure. A rebuild is in my future. Turned the tunes down to stock and baby it and I think I can get a few thousand miles out of it. Know that I want a solid stand so plan to build a stand that mounts to both engine mounts and will allow me to flip end over end and work on rear plate too. Have casters and the steel for the frame and just need the nesting round tubes. Started breaking down the old core that I’ve had laying around. Will use it to mockup the stand and give me some better working knowledge of how the D max goes together. This will likely be a mild build. I could just do the head gaskets, but the oil pan is leaking bad enough I need to address it. For sure: ARP Studs on top and bottom. Wagler street rods. Stroker CP3, upgraded drop in turbo. Likely: 30% over injectors. L5P Oil Cooler. Maybe: New cast iron heads with injector cups built in. Exhaust manifolds and up pipes. In any event it will be a long process as work and kids are keeping me super busy. Will clean and paint the frame from the cab forward and likely send the built transmission off for a freshening with new clutches as it has about 90k on it and I want this to be the last thing I touch in the next 5 years. Sorry to hear about the RA. There are several good meds nowadays. Remicade is one. Every 8 week infusion but works wonders.

The last minute of the interview was ominous. Passion and anger made a dangerous combination.
Almost predicting a civil war. Surprised the left hasn’t already begun indictments for that.

Sam that just about qualifies as an oil change
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Naw, Tex, trumpin' ya here This is for sure an oil change. Rust repair in the truck box seems to have migrated all over Interior was out Body torn down to a shell New parts all over We got into the engine And doin' it again with a turbo... Comprehensive rust repair does not cover it, so...Oil change it is!
Didn’t he swap the motor out previous from a donor truck? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I know this is not the topic of the thread, but we are witnessing a banana republic’s fight to survive. They have to defeat Trump at all costs because they know he’s coming for them. He got duped in the first go around and the deep state has shown its hand. Now if he win’s he’s going to burn it all down and this is do or die for them.
The left has stoked division and hatred to the point that we are a powder keg and it won’t take much for the gloves to come off. Trump grows stronger, and the likelihood of a civil war draws closer with every indictment.
I pray that I’m wrong but I’m at peace with which ever way it goes.

Last day in CA. 6 am departure for an 8:30 flight back to the 103 degree hell of Texas. Last meal did not suck. Takeout from Flemmings in Santa Clara and a nice cigar outside at the rental Really met some nice people on this trip. CA is not a bad place, it would seem that it is just dominated by stereotypes and liberals concentrated in big cities. Maybe there is hope yet to turn it red. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Sam, thats a great looking place. Less house and more shop is the retirement mantra…
JR. We will definitely be back. Wife made that point last night. Guessing you are north of SF? She also wants to see Muir Woods again. It’s been since 2005 since we were there when we stayed in SF. Staying in SF is never going to happen again. I remember the Fairmont and shopping in the big mall there (now deserted) with her when she was pregnant with our youngest. Shame that people let that happen to such a great state.

Jr. I was in BH and then Monterey at the Hyatt resort. It’s been non stop. Of course breakfast for the girls is usually around 11 lol. Can’t get anyone on a schedule. Then a very brief stop in Santa Clara for the girls to see Taylor Swift (shut up, Shawn) and then back to Houston.
Now the wife wants a house in Carmel…..highly unlikely

And don’t bother apologizing for the truth
Drove 6 hours north from Beverly Hills to Monterey. Beautiful drive up the 101. CA traffic isnt bad, its just that CA drivers cant drive and the state doesn’t make it easy. It would be 70, then 30, then 70 then 30. I finally figured out as you go through a small town there is very little runway for the entrance ramp for people to get up to speed, pace traffic and merge, which causes a back up.
CA is a crazy state. Started out at 75 in Beverly Hills, went through several climates that ranged from 101 to 72 and back again several times as you get into the hills and coastline.
Monterey is nice, 61 currently and sitting on the patio to the room smoking a nice cigar. Hope the smoke police don’t crash the front door.
The juxtaposition of the dry and lush areas is amazing. in the valleys, the agriculture is impressive and the soil is so rich looking.

Thanks all.
So far I’ve learned there seems to be a lot of hypocrisy in LA
They allow tent cities along the sidewalks but red tagged and evicted all the tenants in a make shift RV park behind someone’s home.
And it’s certainly a have/have not town. But I guess that’s everywhere nowadays

That's solid stuff right there.
I did buy the Osprey setup at REI with the 30% off 4th of July sale, but even though I got a great fit out of it, there was no MOLLE. I tried to explain how I normally placed my knife right about here, my lensatic compass over there, and how my med kit was independent and off to my right side...
And I got glassed over eyes.
Nothing in that hippie world of REI gets anything about our military world. Sheep don't need med kits and larger knives I guess. And looking at the civie copies of the military lensatic compass, it has me wondering if any of them know how to do azimuth or back azimuth nav from points???
First time I was introduced to a Kifaru was from an army ranger teaching a combat medic course that had just got back from the sandbox. He flipped it open and showed us his med kit full of tampons, and I about bust a gut. Then I realized how important tampons are to a med kit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
