Copy all
BTW, I make these clarifications for the benefit of everyone, Like, for example, that young guy reading this for the first time.
Moving on, doesn't the ram 2500 use a AAM 9.25" front diff? I was thinking the D60 front was replaced by the AAM 9.25 in a solid axle form some time ago, am I wrong?
10-4. Front diff has been 9.25 AAM since 2003 on all 3/4 & 1 ton flavors for Dodge/Ram 2014 saw some MAJOR changes to their rear drivetrain, but front remained the same for the most part.

since the differentials for the Ram Power wagon and the duramax are the same now, you might "acquire" a QD set from one to test it out, you know for posterity and all. I think what Ryan and all are trying to get at is you commented you didn't want to lose articulation in the rear where you needed it most, but also wanted to add a sway bar. with the QD concept you get both. You're not doing more than you need, or converting it into a mulch bed destroyer, just enough to get what you want out of it. (I wonder if I sound like you to your wife trying to sell her on some new piece of equipment you "need" to purchase).
Point of order: Axles do not disconnect, the saw bar does and Dodge has a solid front axle Chevy has the IFS
Not exactly the same
And its the front sway bar which disconnects
Does the PW even have a rear sway bar???
You're talking to the axle and gear guy, but I'll take it on the chin. Was always referencing the sway bars, not the axles. IFS and Solid axle are VERY different, but both applications can benefit from anti sway bars as you've seen in your installation recently. TBH, I have no idea if the rear axle has a sway bar, let alone one that disconnects, but you commented on it and got my wheels turning. Sam (I believe) mentioned something about the rear being more effective in anti sway, you said I want to keep articulation for the farm, viola, we have arrived here. This comment: " since the differentials for the Ram Power wagon and the duramax are the same now" was in reference to the 11.5 rear axles we had been discussing, although I did not specify. I like spitballing ideas because I sometimes get to see those ideas come to fruition through you old timers with more time on your hands.

Hey Don, what about a disconnecting sway bar. Best of both worlds.
Maybe it's just a PNW thing, but I think we're on to something. I actually researched this a bit, and couldn't find anything, but there's nothing stopping you from fabbing up some poly bushing heim jointed custom bad boys. think these but way bigger:

Sold the trailer on Sat, and bought a boat on Sunday. '95 Larson 20ft bowrider w/ a 4.3L Mercruiser w/ radiator and EZ load single axle trailer. Custom Seahawks interior got my attention, but the outdrive is new, all new stainless braided hydraulics, most of the electrical has been updated, new bilge, pretty new tonneau cover and only 240hrs.
edit: screen shot has facebook crud on it, but I can't seem to crop it. oh well.
did somebody PUKE seachicken all over that thing tate......................
Yes, and it still smells like... victory. TBH I wasn't thrilled about the coloring, I'd have done more away grey and blue, but it's woven mesh, new foam and not cracked failing vinyl w/ rotted foam so I'm not going to complain... too much.

Good looking boat Tate. Those 4.3 mercruisers are pretty solid. Had one in a 20 ft that would do 57 flat out on a perfect surface. Buying used makes all the difference. I had mine for 3 years and only lost $2000. Sold it back to the place I bought it from.
Highly recommend what is called a "topsider".

Especially for one with a sponge-soft storage floor. They do all their own in house repairs so I'm sure it'll cost them nothing to fix but man hours.
Edit: 8yrs old to boot, it was an '09. limited edition w/ a lot of extras, but still.

Well, thanks gents, but she's out of my hands now. Sold the trailer to the dealer I originally bought it from, but they didn't remember me. bought it for $12.5 and sold it for $11k w/ some major soft spots in the front driver's storage area. Turns out the seam sealer on the front corner split right where the AC condenser drip rail is at. Found it right as we were coming to an agreement on the sale price or I might have gotten $12k for it! Either way, it was a sad moment. Lots of happy memories in there. I'm sure we'll build more on the boat my trailer sale just helped finance

From the sounds in the video points and dwell were on my thought list as well as my wagoneer acted like that when they were out of adjustment and/or burnt. don't know much about carbs, but Ken is usually right so...

2 pieces of white bread & pie filling of your choice stuffed inside cast iron sandwich makers. Called pudgy for a reason, pretty much pure sugar......
I have one, I will be making this!

I think some may work for that, but I'd bet mulch will end up for much of it. Makes good firewood as well.
He's got that fancy chipper. I'm betting cedar shaving ground cover. kills weeds and keeps bugs away. great for under the shed and around the trailer

Sam touched on it, but in the PNW w/ ever present threat of rain I always carry magnesium striker and Vaseline covered cotton balls in a film canister or small Tupperware. they burn like crazy and start wet wood pretty well.

I'm selling my trailer and a prospective buyer came by to look at it Saturday and asked about the tacky drips running from the windows, essentially on all of them. I had no answer for him if it was normal/abnormal, but it's always been like that for the last 5 years I've owned it with no leaks. Can any of you provide any insight as to why it's like that, and should I do something about it?
thanks

I imagine the confrontation at home had much if not all to do with your boy's situation? I'm sorry to hear all of this and will be thinking of you all. If you want to PM me his details, I could make some phone calls to some OR customers in need of help?

LOL, at Les Schwab we used to do the old torsion crank to stuff 285/75/16 under stock height Silverados under protest, then laugh at them when they came back to complain about ride quality. so-cal squatters we called them.

Love it. everything I had found was just livers and I think the gizzards and even some hearts would be awesome. (now if I could get a bunch of freshly harvested ringneck hearts, possibly a trip out to the Midwest behind some pointing type canines and a glass of burbon, that would maybe definitely add to the authentic flavor right?)

Our tweco whips ran around $300 FYI. I've used tregaskiss stuff & it seems as good as tweco imo. We also ran Bernard & a lot of their stuff works with Tweco, again similar quality.
More tips, I always use screw on 2 piece nozzles. Do not run the push on nozzles they suck. The other thing to be careful of is that the tip should be recessed inside the end of the nozzle a good 1/8-1/4" if it is protruding past the end if the nozzle you either have a mismatched setup or in some cases you may be missing a washer that acts as a spacer for the nozzle as some setups run.
If you buy junk Chinese imported wire expect poor results possibly. Granted we ran off brand wire for non air tight welds etc but if you're building pressure vessels or barges / high stress structural welds etc run the high dollar Lincoln wire. My opinion is that it's the best wire available.
I would take his advice people. remember the welds on the Cmax diff cover? I've only ever used a little craftsman stick welder. Dad bought me a really nice miller for Christmas one year and it along with my top box were stolen out of the back of the wagoneer in my apt complex. never got to even wire up the welder.

Not privy to the details but I've been through what I believe to be similar situations with family and I pray that God gives him the ability to see himself from others' perspective and grasp what's happening so that he can make a choice.
