Yes, need a build thread.
Lots of things I can think of that could come from there...

Just got back from a 4 day trip to Ontario, Ca for a model plane convention. I work(play) with a few other guys and we run the indoor flying demos. For pay we get rooms at the Doubles tree and free breakfast.

Trip down was uneventful. 5 down the valley, up the grapevine (new not old) over the 210/10 and you are there, 436 miles. (little 2 lane is the real grapevine)

Trip back was via Tehachapi and stayed at a buds house in Bear Valley. Rained like crazy so we didn't go looking for Elk like last time.

Made it back up just in time tonight for my sons basketball game and other sons Scout meeting. Tomorrow I begin taxi service again.

Took my driveshaft to inland truck parts to have it checked. It was out of balance. $280 I just have to get it picked up and slap it all back together see what happens.

If it fixes my problem I will be happy to pay that. I've already thrown $800 at it and nothing happened. New u joints, carrier bearing, new tire, re balance the tires, plus labor and endless frustration.

Cool beans. Can't wait.

Went for a drive today looking for caribou. 20 odd miles down the very new winter road. I think they started yesterday. Wow was it bad rough. Didn't take picture for fear of ending up stuck in the ugly stuff. May go again tomorrow and if I do will try to get a couple now that I know how he truck is behaving in the 'stuff'.
If you've never seen winter road, picture a cut line through the woods, 3-6 foot hummocks (bulges) in the dirt, and then snow/ice for road surface. All kinds of off camber bumps, kind of like wheeling in a jeep I suppose.
No critters, road was short of where they had been seen yesterday. Maybe by tomorrow it will be in far enough.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

16 Deg at 0600 today. sunny and mid 30's this afternoon. we got a light dusting up north that's sticking around due to the cold but nothing major. Snoqualmie on the other hand... 100 accidents last weekend on I90 in the space of 5 or 6 hours I think. Bad stuff all around. Our customer svc gal was friends with the college kids that died in one of the wrecks. Driving like there was no weather... God bless their ignorant souls.

State of Nebraska want a little crazy with the sodium chloride this morning. We got an inch of snow and the sprayed the crap out of everything.
We are expecting an ice storm over the weekend. I got the fuel cart out of the snow bank and in the shop to thaw out. Got some treated fuel in it. I will have the generator all set up by tomorrow or Saturday morning. We have a PTO driven generator on an older 7110 international tractor.  Norm is suppose to have it worse than us. I'm sure he's all ready.

That's why we gather here at the RMTWS church.

That's a different combination of not quite the right bits.
Now, there may be merit to having tool box or combo fuel tank accessible, but I'm not a fan of how it looks, fits, or would function. Thinking it would be a lot of wind resistance for the topper as well.

JMHO.

This project took about a week, every evening and 2 weekends.  :-[
My wife does the whole marathon thing, running farther than I typically like to drive, and needed a place to hang her medals in the bedroom. I told her i would make something but it had to be western, since the bedroom is the only place I have control (seemingly) over decorations.

...cut out a mountain back ground, and gouged out the ridges, and her initial that will look like white wash after hanging on the wall :

then I made a shelf with a corral made from square stock and round rod (to scale) with rods underneath for hanging medals, and a place to hang her placards:

...then the windmill, with copper blades:

Hmm..can't find a finished pic
