This is the second one. The first was great. Doing another hog in June.  Great stuff.
Getting our first hog next week. New butcher hope it turns out good

I dont know where you guys get your hogs but we have been buying hogs out of confinement buildings. Usually get a one with a belly rupture for cheap. This last time we spent the extra money on a good dirt raised pig from a small farm. There is a night and day difference in the quality of meat. No more confinement hogs for us.

This year we are buying from some FFA kids. There is some virus going around in hog so if the kids take them to the state fair they can't sell or take them home. The kids are selling them to recoup some of the cost of raising them.

Dishwasher replacement, contractor grade didn’t make it 2 years. Bosch upgrade, still assembled in NC so semi American.

We have a similar Bosch unit. Does a good job, we run it 2-3 times a day, usually fully loaded. I bought and installed it almost 3.5 years ago and it’s still going strong. Only issue I had was when something was loaded weird and it somehow got water under the tub and caused the floating leakage switch to activate. All I had to do was take off the kick plate and dry it out. All good. This is our second one, left one at the old house. I’m very satisfied with their product. Oh, and extremely quiet too!!!

Wife uses the DW for storage, same for the oven, well everything is storage even 1/2 the kitchen counter. Given up on "fixing it".

She is OCD about dirty dishes, if there is a dish to wash, she will, 10-15 times a day. Then gets on me for not washing like she does, plus the "wet dishes" get set on the counter open end up so they don't dry leaving the drain rack empty. Given up.

Was asked if I want to go to Hawaii this summer with the family. I have to buy my own ticket though, just mine. She makes more than I, I pay 90% of the bills and mortgage.

Rant over, but its early.

Yep, we had one at old house and worked well. Same deal, two year and contractor grade was toast. This one is roughly same design but has some air vented drying thing. Didn’t want it or want to pay for it but this model came in sooner after month wait.

Well, a tornado of a trip south, all seasons including black ice season, which is no fun with a trailer.

New pup got fixed, I picked the last of everything up I need (hopefully)for gazebo 2 point oh.
Haulin across the ice today. Still lots of winter left here.
We have been floating both sides of freezing and ice is holding up well.
I’m thinking at least two more weekend.

Oh yeah the load of the day I didn’t take any pics.
6 X roll roofing 4@grey, 2@black.
2 X 100 pound propane.
1 X 30 pound propane.
1 X bedframe that mama ordered.
Meh, 1100-1200 odd pounds and easy peezy to pull.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

Love my Bosch. Had a Fisher Paykel dual drawer system which was a great concept but not very good long term.  My Bosch has a red light that shines on the floor because its so quiet you cant tell its running.

Almost ready for the trip to Idaho.
I've got an order in for the roofing tin and purlins. They will go in the middle.

Also got this fancy Spartan hitch for the gooser to (hopefully) make it a smoother trip.
Ken,

Just to be clear, you're pullin' all that with the 2500HD???

It snowed so I thought I would do a quick tune up on my generator. That turned into a couple broken bolts and needing new rings. I was going to actually follow directions and pull the heads off to clean the carbon. I sold have just kept buying new spark plugs. The first side came off real easy. The head gasket was leaking. Not a big deal they are $12. The other side was the one that wouldn't come apart very easy. So for now I am gong to pull it off the truck and install my spare. I may be in the market for a new generator. We will see. The bolts were really messed up so I'm not confident that the threads will be much good either.

Hope an ezee out works.

Cheap easy fix for buggered threads.
Ran a many in sleds over the years.

Planted seeds for the garden to get them going.
Might be a week or so late hard to say.

I swapped out the stock oil pan for a DMAXStore one without the hump in the bottom that holds about a pint of dirty oil. One darn bolt didn’t want to come out. Luckily it was a through bolt so I can put a longer bolt there with a nut on top because I had to drill it out.

Yea maybe it wont be as bad as it looks. I was looking for an overhaul kit but it seems like guys on the Smokestack forum just throw rings on and call it good. Any more than that its cheaper to get a different engine. Needs a carb kit also but thats not a big deal.

I changed my up shift shift point to lower in he RPM range, I focused today a good bit more of adjusting my gear selection based off my load. Hauled all kinds of crap today, track hoe’s, walk behind compactors, multiple skid steers and some large road compactor.

Light on the hands and finding the Pedal sweet spot to keep the fuel off and the Jake not engaged.

Today was a really good driving day.

Next to remember I’m like 62 feet long and you can’t count on no traffic on right hand turns lol
