Is the pond deep enough to dive into from the wall you built?

That’s good.   I like seeing guys in parking lots with the lip full of sprinkler water,  knowing it will be their til it evaporates

Or you go down the road and the tire is way out of balance filled up with crud you went through.

Ordered the lift today, Cognito K0502, 4-6 inch, NTBD from LiftKits4less. Listed for same as everyone else, but they had 5% off, no tax and free shipping. I already have the Cognito upper control arms too.

No shocks yet but leaning towards the Fox 2.0 as they have a special one for this lift. Then probably rotate the rear shock hanger for clearance along with reversing the ubolts like Dons. Think the clearance will come in handy with the land I am getting.

TRN, I'm in one of those states too and I get so much of it in the bay area.

Also think it is going to get worse before it gets better. That part may not be voting, but real fighting I fear. Hear they are talking about 16 year olds voting now. That would sink us fast, even my daughter thinks its bad. Now they are being called new arrivals too. And arriving at 75K a month!!

Lee turned, but lets face it what support did he get? Daily bombarding can ware anyone down, but I still don't agree with what he did.

Almost all of them hate Trump, he is an outsider and that scares them.

God help us.

For those going through brush on a regular basis, running a quick disconnect cable up to a rack or other hard point might help. Get that long stuff going another way.

Nice going Charles.

Flat tire, how do they not catch that until they taxi?

Is that a little Kabota Dave?

Sold most of the furniture and some little stuff yesterday. Not really worth having sales now so freebees and donations here we come! 3 weeks until closing.

But they aren't in the mulch!

I would rather bend and scrape a sheet metal than loose lights. Plus depending on speed it may allow stopping to avoid sheet metal damage before it snaps?

Look a lot like the Moto 951 which I like too. These will be easier to clean.

Still looking for a deal, been busy with moms estate sale.

Had to reorder tires, they sold mine!! I did get these rims though. A little flash but with the lugs it should look good.

Nice bench there. My last 2 chests have been from HD.

I found overhead office racks last year, got like 10 of them. They hang off normal shelving hangers, have wire outlets and they lock!

I know it's a little late but I use the same coolers on Cummins tranny's per trans builders advise. They work well.

Aren't those exchangers not coolers? (same purpose) Ken, I was so wanting to call last night when the camry was giving me cooling issues, but it was late.

Lots done again.

Sounds like SD came out OK. Glad you got a lot back out of it for what you put in.

I have to do the same pump work to mine still, mine leaked. BTW the pump works all the time, not just 4x4.

If this area here was a little wider (same as the 265?), we could run a 1350 vs a 1310 front universal.

You guys all try to be safe up there. Water is mother natures power, beautiful but deadly.

Ug, don't remind me about taxes. Mine and the estates.

Finally got the camry on the road. Started overheating after the oil pump was done. Checked everything, new thermos, checked the pump. I was stumped. Finally blew out the system and she calmed down, figure was some kind of bubble in the system.

Progress, what about the tranny cooler?

Have you thought about using motorcycle jacks? They go higher than many jacks and the flat surface keeps things steady.

Oh, what do you use for your leather? Using the cleaner/protector is not doing it for me. Cleans fine, just doesn't seem to protect as it should.

The Camry saga,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Probably took me 8 hours in all. In the street and looking for tools was some of it. How can half you sockets go missing? Promised I would have it done today. Didn't get on it until about 1300, little bug bit me, but I promised. Well right at 1130 I fired it up. Purred like a kitten, then I see it. Oil dripping solidly from the back of the oil pump which I didn't touch. Now it had a small oil leak, so I replaced the cam and crank seals. Hopping I just fudged the camshaft seal but I think the pump seal is gone. Doing some research I see this is an issue sometimes, wish I had done it when it was apart.

I don't Don couldn't handle the trailer, but do you really need it? The burb will handle it fine too.

Just thinking with 3 of you, nice time of year with the tent and the miles you want to drive the Sub should be fine.

Plus you are adding another fluid change (that's what we call rebuilds here) on top of finishing the sub.

JR, they can take out the valves in the right condition... like down highway at high rpms. I've had 4 of those and the first one ('97) busted like that, on my daughter also. When they snap on start up they tend to not bend them.
Not sure who came up with the"non interference" list, but I've seen some other brands do that also.
.. I'd use an Aisan water pump if you don't want to do it again in 20k miles.

She was at the end on our street about to stop, hopefully were good. That is the kit I got from summit! Looks like someone is watching over us.

1 of those quick setup tents and you are GTG. Trailers are for staying somewhere for a few days or hauling something. Sounds like this first trip is a "travel trip". Get a motel every few days to shower (or use a knuckleheads) and you are set.

That looks like SD before he painted it!!

I would not go with a trailer. You want to travel, not just camp. There will be 3 of you right? 1 in the back, 2 up top keep it simple and light. Easier to drive, better mileage and no backing issues.

If it becomes a camping vehicle, go with a trailer. Haul it out, drop it and you still have rig to run and a base camp.

Funny thing is I saw a 1011 on CL out here setup like that. Soft top with those camping bunk-beds and still plenty of room for a chair and fans.

Looks like a hoot, been 50 years since I have been on one!

Got that Camry 1/2 torn down. It is the timing belt and a none interference engine. Good time to address the oil leak in that area.

Camry I got for the daughter stopped today, just a bang and it died. Pretty sure it is the timing belt since I had already bought everything for that as it has 158k on it.

Was at a good spot though at the end of our street, AAA coming to get it now since it is raining and dark.

Do a compression check on it Sun and go from there,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I still have a pelican that went through a garage fire in 06. Scorched as you know what, but the $1000 transmitter was just fine and had to cut it open with a sawsall.

Maybe start with one of those new HF cases? Hard to go wrong for $40 and you always get a pelican later?

You know, I have been using an Intex twin for camping for a couple years now. Just the cheap one, 7.97 at wally and has served me well. Wider than the sleeping bag, not too thick and I sleep great on it.

I use a cheap 12v pump, but have a bigger one with pump built in that is nice. For $8 you can get a few.
