Nice!
We have one at work, I'm thinking I need one too.

Jon, it's an ultrasonic cleaner.
Water and an additive to make the water wetter.
The ultrasonic modules 'quiver' the water for lack of the proper term.
Basically it will clean anything that fits.
The one at our work is for doing compressor unloaded valves and things like that.
Has been known to see snowmobile motors disassembled for rebuilds etc.
works very well for cleaning stubborn carbs as well.

Works great on gun parts too. Buddy has one big enough to do uppers.

A side note, with the heat, we have seen brass discolour.
The heat is a great option though, just need to watch if maintaining original colour is important.

I already have the small HF one and it works good. Think I will try the purple degreaser in this one.

I have my throttle body to try in it. I have 65lb injectors, high pressure kit and will mill the top off and blend it. Should give me a little more umph with that beast without going nuts.

Then of course there are gun parts and other little things. I was looking for a 5gal airater type cleaning setup. Those work great but this will run without air.

Ok ok  yea I have heard of them but never seen one. My cousin was talking about getting one a couple years ago. I had no idea wth he was talking about. Some box he puts carburetors in and it cleans them. First thing that went through my mind was that's a nice deep fryer!

I thought that was what they made a bath tub for don, or a kiddy pool on the driveway with pressure washer/garden hose?

I thought you went to Luby's cafeteria and took ALL the green beans....

Very cool. Where did you get it and what did it set you back if you don't mind me asking?

Oh, she works good!!! This is with a quart of simple green in the 10l bin. After the second cleaning the water temp was up to around 52c, about 145* I think.

This was after the first pass, before it heated up all the way. Don't have a pic of parts coming out, but they are clean and got a little dark from the SG as it etches the alum a tad.

A few things can influence that.
Time in tank being one.
But generall cleanliness is the bigger.
A quick scrub of scotch brite at this stage and back in might do it.
I've found with greasy/oily residue (snowmobile engine parts) that it took a few trips in scrub in to get it all gone and clean.
JR will have a more definitive answer if this is not the case.

I brushed it and it comes clean. As long as the passages are clean I am cool. It does brush off easy, already did that. A quick spraying off with SG should do the job, works on motors all the time.
