Figures since all the landscape tools were scattered about I'd build a wall hanger deal to get em up off the ground. Into it about 20 bucks at the orange box. Couple 10' sticks and some 94 cent hangers, and a hand full of 10 penny headless nails

I understand, definitely not my favorite tool most likely because I get stuck using one more often than I care to admit. Well organized for the $20 you spent.

Well, time for another update

Grass is growin

Also borrowed my grampas Deere to spread some gravel and grade the back section of our property

Also tapped into the mainline from the irrigation system and put a spigot way out back so I don't have to drag hoses back there when I'm burning, etc. also stubbed off for future veggie garden

Got 45 yards of dirt coming for the back back, then going to sling some grass seed on it and call it good for the summer. Ultimately a bunch of trees will go in back there, fire pit, garden, orchard, etc

Sarge would be a bit overkill. Just spent all weekend knocking down the high spots from the last dozer that was back there. Little box blade on the Deer did the trick

I second the thumbs up on the Quick Curb... Very clean look and no weed wacking.. just drive the mower over it.

Very nice!

No those are the neighboring lots, and that was logged earlier this spring. Just the best pic I had of the shop foundation. I've got 15' setback from the edge of the shop to the property line.

That's another 2 acres down there, wish it were mine!

This weekends project. The back section...

45 yards of screened topsoil delivered

Spread in mounds with the Deere

Started raking out.

The plan is to rake it out, drag it out with a gate drag I made, throw grass seed down, roll it, and call it good. I put the top soil down basically to cover the millions of surface rocks. I picked up the big ones, but there's no way I could pick them all up.

Eventually we'll have cedars, vine maples, and fruit trees back there, but for now I just wanted to get grass down so I could mow it. Was spraying weeds all the time, and it looked like crap, so grass will spruce it up while phase 2b of landscaping is on hold.

Well, the truth is I'm not that proficient on it yet. I tried a little, and I just couldn't gauge depth real well and was bringing rocks back up. And the box blade isn't adjusted right and I don't want to monkey with it since it's where grampa likes it apparently

Not like I don't need the exercise either lol. Got some help from the better half for a bit too

Ok Ken, thanks for the suggestion. Got back on the tractor to spread out the piles before I rake it. Just took my time and where dirt was thicker I used the box blade, where thinner I back bladed with the bucket.
