Well today my body decided that it's the perfect time for my once a year sickness. This mornings choice was the common flu.

Pretty busy day yesterday. Finally getting around to putting up the conex box building I was taking about last fall. Got concrete pillars the boxes will sit on poured. We hired that done. We had to get  4x4x1/2 angle iron to make  brackets to weld on and bolt them down.
Got the bosses truck back from the detail shop. That's his toy I guess. Over $200,000 in it and the pup trailer he pulls. 5 years old only has 10,000 miles. Most of the time it's just in way.

My nephew wanted some goats so I sold him my pains in the rears. I  had to deliver some groceries over there. 3/4 full hay rack of alfalfa. It was nice I got to take a 4 mile cruise on grandpas old tractor.

^^^ Looks like the grass is greening up!

I like the sound of those old deere's

My neighbor is a part of an antique tractor club. They have around a hundred members and every once in awhile they get together for a "Cruise-in" they will eat and fellowship, then mount up and drive the tractors in a long procession that goes right through our neighborhood. We love it...cool, restored, old machines

Yep the grass is growing fast. Some people will be getting crops in the ground next week. according to federal crop insurance we can start on April 15th. We usually hold off a week or so.

Th pillars are a little taller than I thought they would be. Buy they are not all the way full either. We will set the container then the building attaches to the top of them. Picture 2 is along side the shop and fuel barrels. There is a 30x40 open front going there. A place to park the pickup, 4 wheeler, side by sides etc.

I know you are young and healthy but get checked for CoVid

In order to get tested for that you need a doctor's referral. Plus if you look at the symptoms, I don't have them. If something changes then I'll get with the doctor, the GF is determined to take care of me, she don't want to hear that I don't need to be babied. Lol

Why not just more osb on the bottom? Heck of a lot sturdier/more durable than Sheetrock.

Forgot how rough the ol '73 rides. ..
Been looking for an early 90s Chevy bench seat...and ended up with an entire 96 truck. Changed out the bouncy one and should kick myself for waiting so long.

Put up the OSB to protect the insulation and keep stuff from being lost, just don't paint it. The top half will reflect the light well enough.

Happy Easter everyone

Jesus is alive, he is risen, he is coming back

Our church had a service every hour starting at 0700 with the last one just ending a bit after 2000

I pulled security duty for a third of it...split the shifts up between three of us

You may or may not know that our Governor Beshear made a point yesterday to warn people to stay away from churches and limited congregating with more than ten folks at a time.

We have been having ushers in the parking lot to hand out communion, as we have it every sunday. Well, today a police car shows up and parked in a manner to overlook the parking lot. The governor had warned that he would have people record the license plates of anyone showing up. I cannot say for sure exactly what the police officer was doing but it had its effect. We had almost no one (On Easter Freakin' Sunday) show up.

I did a walk by the cruiser and the officer inside just turned away from me, so I just kept on motoring. Now tell me if I'm wrong to feel creeped out by that, but I trust and support my local law enforcement. Many are my friends. I trust them. I'd jump in a frakass to save one in trouble if needed. The thought of our police force being used to enforce an illegal order is hard for me to digest...caveat: If that is what was happening. BTW, come tomorrow a metric ton of legal proceedings is about to fall in the gov's lap for making an unconstitutional order.

Last Saturday I went down to our RV junk yard and grabbed an AC unit. Set it up on saw horses to test it. It works great. Just have to finish straightening the fins. It ran a good half hour. Compressor kicked on and off as it should. Good cold air coming out. I ordered this gasket and the first Saturday after this shows up I'm installing it. If my calculations are correct this will put me right a 13'6''

The shroud has a pretty good crack in it. I taped it together on the bottom and put a bunch of gorilla glue on it. I will flip it over and do the same on the bottom when this cures.

Well, it’s still full on winter for me.
Took advantage of not being in complete lockdown yet. Visited the kids for a couple days, hit Costco and pet store for a lock down stock up.
And hit Home Depot for some concrete supplies.

Hoping to be motivated enough to try a pizza oven this summer.

So had to get supplies to cabin while it’s easy.

Six bags of cement, two bags of lime, and a hundred pounder.
Now I understand why my back was sore last night.

Last night when we took the dogs for a walk one of them went off trail on a scent. Snow was well over her back. We’re winter a couple weeks yet.

Now I've noted that people living in more remote northern towns usually have a pretty good pizza place. Why is that?

Watching this show where some folks off road up through Yukon Territories to AK always seem to find a pizza place in the most oddball of places.

We’ve actually got Jack Schmidt.
We have a hotel full of mould and sewer gas, and should be shut down due to health concerns.
Town has gone thought a ‘shrink’ of resources and community engagement.

We have a store, groceries and not a lot more.
A post office.
A town office.
Cop shop.
And a rec Center.

All of the other shops have closed doors...
And I like pizzas. So a wood fired pizza oven is in my future.

Got the wall finished in the garage, hung some shelves and added lights.

Another day or so to go, with kids home it is drawn out some.

Added lights to the steel cabinets. Put these wally brand above the sink too, just the right height for light but not in your eyes.

Would like to find some more, these lock and allow storage up top. Continuing the top/shelf as far as possible.

Tool chest fit in there perfect, started on this end wall tonight. Shelf will go to the corner.

Will redo the camera setup as it fades in/out right now and a new power supply didn't help. So far I have 5 cameras, but building it up the full 8 with the new system that has online monitoring.

Horns are a nice touch.  JR take a look at ubiquity cameras. I run them and their NVR software on my server and it has a remote viewing phone app as well. Very nice solid stuff

Oh and yesterday I spent 7 hours behind the pressure washer doing spring cleaning.  All the flagstone on the porch around the pool the fire pit and the out door kitchen and then the house and shop and tractor

I’m about ready to upgrade to a 4000 psi 4gpm unit.  Need to get it done faster.  My little 6.5hp 3000 psi unit is nice for smaller stuff but takes too long for big jobs

I'm looking at PW too, my 1900psi snapon stopped working. Been thinking about the same you are referring too, but maybe with heat for the ridge.

Charles, do you have the oscillator for washing? Washes about a 10-12” path at a time.

Turner I don’t.  But to get the power needed to effectively clean that swath it takes more than what I have. Looking at a https://www.pressurewashersdirect.com/Pressure-Pro-EB4040HC-Pressure-Washer/p2828.html

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

I don’t know what ours is, maybe 3200psi, it runs it.
This is our cleaner. When you up your washer, definitely get one. We’ve used ours heavily.

The turbo head has a bearing in it to rotate with the water stream?
