Happy birthday Don,
Now the real question. What are you going to do today? Celebration? Jump a motorcycle? Eat some keto birthday cake?

Don, May He bless you with another healthy year! Happy Birthday

I'm thinking he was going to opt to torching a candy bar and wrecking his knee on a desk.
Happy Birthday big guy.

On my birthday in days past I always liked to do three things:
1. Work on my car/truck
2. Go for a run
3. Go flying
So I just got the coated bumper from the shop, think I (as Norm sez) toss it on
Then I think I'll run to the shower and clean up
Then fly down to the Mexican joint to eat a celebratory dinner with family and friends

More thanks, gentlemen, I appreciate the heart felt feelins'
;-)

Woke up thinking something was severely off this morning now I know why....
Happy B-day Boss!

Happy birthday Chief!
All the best in the coming years!

Don. Happy birthday Soldier!
I’m grateful to the Lord for you. You have given us a place to commiserate with like minded people. These men can swallow the anger at today’s Godless world and still keep doing the right things. But you, sir, have given us a place of respite from the everyday where instead of surviving, we are thriving because we gain sustenance from each other.
I’m lifting you up to Him and may He keep and preserve you in His will for years to come.

^^^ X2
Naw, I am kidding
I am also humbled because I am nothing more that a man. Anything good in me had to be forced out by a very patient and loving God.
This group here is the real magic. There is something going on here that transcends any one of us (which is a good thing) To claim relative importance or prominence for anyone here would simply be wrong and accepting that individuals are somehow more important than others. Yes we each have a role to play, but who's to say which is greater. Its the old "Chicken and the egg adage."
So what's more important, the person/persons who created this place, or the many people who are drawn here and at times rise to the top for a moment of clarity, or great advice or provide advice or a comforting word. Or is it the many instances of the result of the aforementioned.
I am humbled, but moreso, you all bring me honor and friendship (even people named Dave). So, I'll hang my hat on that nail but claim nothing more as mine. I is but a single stitch in the leg of a pair of well worn jeans that calls itself the community of Real Man truck works and survival, but maybe should really just be called "Real Man."

Still happy to be here, even if my name is dave

So you're saying, a diaper bag is really the first vestige of a "Bug-Out Bag"?

Thank You
You're welcome
But
I am the one getting the blessing!
Who'd have thought that something like a forum could turn out more like an estranged (or maybe just "strange") family?
I enjoy the comradeship here. Folks are real here, just like the forum name states.

I don't facebook, twitter, Instagram, snapchat, myspace, tiktok, ad nauseum. THIS is my "social media" and it's full of realmen, not keyboard warriors.
