Went to HF twice, second time I brought my wallet..... ::) Purchased elcheapo engine stand that supposedly is good for 1k#, doubtful. Paid $52 out the door after the current sale & 20% coupon.

Cleaned garage, modified engine stand for mini van mill. Took pics with oldest daughter going to first homecoming dance as freshman. You all ain't getting pics so don't ask..... ;)

Blew Ken a lot of crap on my JK build thread & grilled some burgers so all is right with the world!

Living in the remote north hoping Ken doesn’t bring H up here any time soon…..

Sorry Bobby. The  family pronounced this one the best yet. New rub I imitated from Triple D and a vinegar sauce I made up. Cider vinegar, black pepper, cayenne, hot sauce, garlic powder , ketchup, mustard, paprika, salt, brown sugar

Built some firewood racks.....the ones I've had for (15?) years are slowly giving up the ghost and I wasn't confident they could stand the weight of another year. Have 2 cords to stack so have to get my a** in gear. Have about 1/3 to 1/2 cord by the firepit, the rest is going where the old racks are for the fireplaces. Cleaned out a bunch of crap from the pond as (with the drought here in MA) the pond is really low (found 6 pucks too which is always good! Ha). Burning it all in the firepit now and having a cold one. Good day.....but my knees will let me know tomorrow!

Had our 3 year olds birthday party yesterday. Invited a bunch of friends and thier kids over. Had a hay rack ride. All the kids had a good time.
Today my 17 yr old son was over I had him help me block off the rafters in the chicken coop with some plastic snow fence. The fat hens get up there to roost. Not a big deal but they have a crash landing when they get down in the morning. I'm afraid they will hurt themselves.

My neighbors and I blew off some steam. We went through 6 cases of clay pigeons, and a few hundred rounds of 12 gauge. Interesting enough, the $200 riot gun I got for the wife did better than all the others....must have a good spread! I also ran over a 100 rounds through it and didn't hurt my shoulder at all.

Easy does it now Ken. Pretty soon experimentation becomes chronic use, which transitions into abuse, and full on addiction. Might as well just skip all the in-between steps and purchase this now.

Yeah I've seen more extreme freak shows than that believe it or not. I still have a very nice over/under, the "forum rescue" gun, I like to call it, and I've yet to shoot better numbers with one of those fancy pants guns. That being said, I get smoked all the time by teenagers shooting things like that, so they've got their place. just good fun for sure, and the local gun club has more young girls than boys participating in the high school shooting sports teams. Your girlfriend's reach hasn't extended all the way yet.  :P

Well I guess we do have wild hogs in Nebraska. Actually a neighbor had 2 sows escape this spring. Found one never seen the other until recently. That's our field on the right. Harvest should interesting. Them little pigs will be wild. Momma will be protective. Sombody is going to have fun catching them.

Went and did some logging with the tuner and his laptop on my pickup truck.  Seems to be as he called it surging.    Not anything else visible in the file to suggest why.  So I will start at the fass fuel pump and see what pressure that is giving the cp3. Then might look at replacement of the cp3

Thats the trouble with these things. So many sensors and this works off of that. CPS won't be cheap but good to get the issue fixed.

Scratch my question, 1/8th pipe thread and remove the plug that is marked with a G and install a gauged there,   Hoping to see less then ten psi at the head of the fass

I use a fitting designed to go in the bleeder screw on the filter head. It tells me the most accurate pressure from the LP right before it hits the CP3

Thanks Ken. That's also a good measure of when to change filters.  Note pressure when filters are new and then monitor for pressure drop.

Finally got out to shoot my Glock 30 shotgun. I can't seem to focus on the front sight. I have progressive lenses and they don't seem to help. I focus on the front sight and my right eye seems dominant for the rear sight. (Left handed and supposed to be left eye dominant)

Ergo the shot gun. Only took 130 rounds to hit the red bullseye. Gonna need to carry a lot more magazines.

3 time to this really nice indoor range.

Hey Mike-

How far away was the target?  Anything past 15yrds and you're on shaky ground shooting someone "in self-defense" anyway.

The target was either 100 yards or 20 feet... one of those is true.. :)

I grew up a hunter so we never really needed a handgun. Now late in life I would actually like to be able to hit what I would like with a hand gun. I would prefer not to "spray and Pray". LOL.. For that I'll just use my Mossberg and hip shoot!

I probably should switch to my Browning .22 until I learn how to get a good sight picture and quit burning expensive .45 ammo.

Hiking in Smokie Mts to see a waterfall with wife, on our the back wife was running out of gas and turned to me and said we need to see a bear to boost her adrenaline, and we go 10 ft tops and here comes a Black bear down the Mtn about 25 yrds in front of us, across trail and down in front of us to the river!! That was a good hiking trip!

I went and got a second chicken coop. Mainly for ducks and geese. My wife is ecstatic. No not really. She said I'm not allowed to have geese.

Do you guys have turkeys? If not get those before geese. However from what I understand geese can be decent Gaurd dogs. Guinean make an awful noise quite frequently but tend to fuss at most things. In other words another decent alarm. For eating I would personally stay with chickens turkeys and ducks. However I'm guessing you already know all this.
