I need to do this, stock up for biscuits n gravy. It's a winter staple.

Thanks for posting this.....I can get ground pork cheap at a local butcher shop but never know what spices make sense. Mmmmm.....biscuits n gravy when it's a blizzard outside? Pure-d-heaven!!

You're a saint!
The Frau loves her some Jimmy Dean maple flavored fried sausage paddies. I guess I do as well!
-
I showed this to tracry and she even agreed that we can now grind our own.
-
Nate do you have a meat mixer?
-
I do not have true meat mixer per sey but i do have 2 hands and i also have a kitchen aid mixer. The mixer works pretty good.
-
Oooh. I gotta try these out!
Thanks for sharing.
-
The hot version is also good in chili.. Guess my winter meals are planned in my head already.
-
I will say that the regular tastes exactly like jimmy dean sausage.
-
i have about 7 lbs getting made today.
-
just a bit of a mis-calculation weight wise. only got just a little over 6lbs. I forgot to take into account the little bit of lose that occurs with handling and the equipment.
