Being in the air is an amazing invention of the 20th century. Before that time, men gazed in wonder at the flight of God’s creatures and dreamed of flight. Mythical stories of Icarus and others dot the history of mankind.
As I saw the sun come up today on a flight, I noticed how the fog and low clouds hug the contours of the earth, just “so”, creating a wonderful tapestry and topography in ways that earth bound man can’t appreciate.
Pilots get to see that, and more, every day. I’m jealous.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191211/2d44a63d35558906ca46c0bf24943caf.jpg)
This picture does not do it justice. By the time I got the camera up it was past the best parts...

He's a mysterious man, living in the shadows, well in this case, the clouds.

Happy Birthday Tex!
I have another friend who I call Tex
He lives in Edmonton, CA.
Is in the Canadian military
Big burly mustache, and a personality to match.
We just always called him Tex, and I guess it stuck.
