Choose the pronoun you wish to be addressed by

This is some of the PC indoctrination that happens at these schools staffed by liberal academia.  No wonder why regular people are so frustrated.

I for one as a parent would flat refuse to pay for my kids education at such a facility. And I'd have them address me as "Mr I am a buffoon" as we discussed it.

Is this for real?  Sounds like it should have been posted by the onion.  I've personally had a friend switch from male to female (though neither my wife or I can understand why, we both completely agree that being a guy is way easier) so I had to remember to call him, a her.  But even so, I am happy to call anyone whether born or "revised" gender either sir or ma'am, but you have to pick one of those two.  Those are the only options available and if you select something different, than I shall call you whatever the hell I want.

its simple really!

1. you were given a name for a reason, use it.

2. if you are speaking to somebody older than you, you will refer to them as sir or ma'am!

i dont think its that hard!?

Works both ways too; Young Man, Young Lady, Miss etc. Weren't we all taught these in grammar school? if you want to correct me that is your prerogative but don't expect me to use some gender neutral B.S. to prevent you from becoming upset over something that should be a non issue. Isn't their something in the bible about being easily offended? You want to be different?, suck it up butter cup.

HA! I'll take either one over ze or xi or whatever other Chinese esque pronoun that "institution of higher learning" is pretending to care about for national PR.
