Nice. I have a 22 break barrel I use around here for whatever. I like the 10rd mag though, I am single.

Have a couple up at the ridge and another here Hatsan PCP for a tad more power.

I have a Lenovo I use to tune with HP Tuners, and now on my second ASUS in a row. Guess I like computers that start with "A"
I don’t think HP has anything to do with HP tuners.

HP is crap. Dell for me all the way.
Where did he say he had a hp pc?

Been really busy lately. Moved a shed for my dad at the trailer park. Then we went on a campout and a 5 mile hike with three other scout troops. There were 32 scouts total.

Built another 7.5 feet of bookshelves. This will ALMOST fit all of the books. And that’s just family books, some of the children are building their own libraries.

I guess this is the childrens section.

Pulled the camper home tonight to get it ready for this weekend… hooked up the water to it to de-winterize and water started pouring out the back end.

Stupid fitting to the hose sprayer port thingy popped loose.

$16 later at home depot for a new fitting and added a valve and I’m back in business.

I think part of the issue is the hole was drilled too far away from the fitting, so it was being pulled sideways. Dug thru the irrigation parts and found a 1/2” coupler and close nipple and now it lines up perfect.

I’m lucky this was easily accessible from our outdoor kitchen area. Just remove the drawer that hoods the little stovetop.

And the tubing they use isn’t real pex.

Looks like it could be either of them.

Today I was going home.
Until I wasn’t.

This is what’s left of the cooling impeller in my outboard. I’ll need to find the other three petals of the pump from wherever they fell into the lower unit.

And then I got home. One of the other hard cores came out today. Still plugged a bit in the marina but he pushed the ice out.

So I’m home, went and grabbed my boat from storage. Tomorrow probably too early I’ll be running it up in the driveway and giving a spring check up.

Then off to move the dock and carry on at the lake.

To be short yes.
There is likely still a lot tucked out of current and in bays, but for the most part it’s gone.

This was part of the ice I had to move and push out of the marina. 50 odd feet locked in between shore and the breakwater. These chunks are still a foot thick and make some aweful sounds hitting the hull…

Made me a bit of a hole.

Heave Ho and off we go.

6.6 km/hr or a tad over 4mph. Not too bad. Somewhere just over 5 the far end of the dock submarines. Notice the water temp, skyrocketing with the ice gone.

A bit of ice along the way.

And just like that summer has officiall started.
Three weeks ago I was still on my snowmobile.

For anyone keeping score this trip was just o er an hour start to finish.

Likely only a couple or few gallons.
I only have a 20 gallon tank and it goes a long time.
Now I likely burned a couple swirling the ice out of the way too.

Today, fielded a call from the HH6 informing me that the AC tech says we need to replace the 4ton AC for the upstairs.

$14k for a trane.  Not sure if that includes the furnace and air handler.  Will have to investigate and get some other estimates.  I suspect a little “zip code” pricing here.

Any thoughts on Trane versus Carrier?

Sounds pricey. Central is nice but I can't see a unit costing that much, sounds like new house setup with ducting and all.

I'm going to split systems, Each room gets their own and heat pumps are fine unless you live with Sam.

Seems a bit high. 4 ton not all that large, really about a "Normal" size.
Trane is good, but so is carrier.
I have two tempstar units on my home, a 3.5 ton and a 6 ton. We get pretty humid, like HOU, but 10 degrees cooler. Cools us very well. We have above normal insulation, but big, big open spaces.

I think between the two brands, whichever offers the best price and warranty for comparable product. I have had both brands, and have been happy with both. The gas replacement is the big cost when a part fails and needs replaced because the gas is lost and not included under warranty.

I know a Goodman isn't a Trane, but going rate here is 9-12k installed, per unit, depending on seer. Out here almost everyone is using heat pump combo units.

I bought 2, a 4 ton and a 5 ton dual stage 16 seer for a total of $8300 delivered. ( Almost $600 in tax)
Had to rent a a Skyjack twice which set me back 1400 iirc. Under 10 grand and a few hours labor for 2 units ain't bad.

Had a couple friends tell me to shy away from Goodman but my old ones lasted 15 years, and only one failed because I never cleaned the evaporator, and it corroded through.

Safe travels Ken.

Well looks like im just going to bit the bullet and have both systems replaced.  The downstairs is fine at the moment but its 14 years old too so both are coming out and Trane 16 SEER going in.

Almost as much as the car I just bought the daughter….. 10 year parts and labor.  Not going to be my problem by the time the warranty runs out.

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

Just passed Dave#1's stomping grounds. Was going to text him hi and bye but figured he might be crashed... 10:30pm local time.

$540.00 in fuel so far. 769 miles.
Averaging 7.5 mpg.
Only 700 more miles to go. Lol

Cheapest fuel so far, $5.45 in Elwood, Utah. At home it was $5.30

It's on auto. All I have to do is turn around at the end and push a button.

Tex, you can put the auto track system on just about anything. I've seen them on old antique tractors.  If you have an extra 20 grand laying around. Thats for a used system.
