Guys I ask for prayers for my family and other Gold Star families of the Afghanistan war. Most of the families I spoke to don't question if or not their family member died in vain or not. They live with the knowledge that those warriors died doing what they wanted to be doing, that there was a reason to be in that place and that God had a reason for them being there. The week before Brett was killed he saved another soldier life during a fire fight. What they question is if the US was going to pull out of that country the way we did why didn't we do it X number of years ago before we lost so many heroes. Just pray for comfort and understanding also pray that the new media will stop seeking out Gold Star families and asking them what they think. Just kind of opens up old wounds. Thanks

Blessing
Steve

Thanks everyone. He is with the Lord. He was having an issue with his heart but under medical care. Just don't know yet. Autopsy should be done tomorrow and then we can make arrangements. We are ok right now.

Matt,
I know you're a tough guy, had to be being an ex-master sergeant in Combat Arms.
But as you know, this will go on.
So I am lifting you up daily for that strength. I'll pray to Eloheem (That is God's name for strength and power)
You will be the man your family needs you to be while Eloheem props you up from the inside and your friends here do our part.
When the time comes, please provide me the address of the venue for your son's funeral

Could use some prayers for my father in law Dave of TN. He’s going in tomorrow at 8am for a biopsy on his lungs. Has COPD bad so the risk of lung collapse is there. We’re hoping it is a severe infection and not the alternative but won’t get results for a few days. My better half is there with her mom and him. Thanks in advance.

Update with Dave of TN, we appreciate the prayers. As it stands now it would appear after a biospy that was inconclusive, then a round of antibiotics that the mass on his lungs according to the results from the second CT scan that we received yesterday is getting smaller. He still has a couple nodes on his lungs lungs they had been watching prior which they still cannot see as a result of the infection (mass) so not quite out of the woods yet and still some unknowns however we're grateful for the better news and your prayers. Please continue to include him if you would until he is free from the infection and the dr's can get a full all clear. God is Good

Also as a side note I'm entering saint hood with my wife shortly as they're now committed to moving from TN to CO with us this next year. So with that said I'm taking any prayers you would like to send my way too! JK....... kind of.......

Friends, I ask that you pray for my friend. He's like a brother to me and just found out he has a couple spots of cancer on his lung. He's the guy that's always there, for anyone, any time. Couldn't happen to a better human.

His name is Dean.
Thank you ahead of time.

All,

Been nuts around here of late but could use some prayers for the wife. She is scheduled for surgery to repair some degenerative disk in her next. During the pre op test her EKG showed that she has had a heart attack at some point. Yesterday she saw a cardiologist and confirmed that she did have a heart attack, which she never complained about anything but they say her neck pain may have masked it. Testing scheduled for Feb and a follow up with the cardiologist in Mar. Please pray for a positive outcome from the surgery and no permanent damage from the heart attack.

Thanks
Steve
