Composite lumber. Wouldn't that just be LVL's and plywood/OSB?

I think he is leaving that for her to post,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Man we are really picking on the old man. Lets DOT up the thread and maybe he won't notice?

Hey, did you hear about the shutdown that isn't?

6454
That is good work but I do agree with Dave on much of his advice. Spread the load.

To bad the drawers could not be made to sit on their bottoms when closed. I think some HD drawers slide do that?

I really like the front compartments as they can be accessed from the rear seat and from someone sleeping!

Linseed oil is great for a little finish and sealing. I would wax the drawer slides though. It will slide better!

As I said nice work, like to see a little of what you put in there. Will a standard mattress fit? I have been using an intex twin for several years now. Heck just $8 at wally, if you wreck it, who cares!

I wrote a long response but was reminded of days ago. Why waste my time

Those look good, nice job. Was wondering about the slides which I see you built.

Does the bottom of the drawer sit flush? IE it doesn't break with stuff bouncing over the KIA's and mulch

Not the current square bodies, but the Dmax yes and in the front this last weekend up in Reno!

I have done memory foam on camping trips, but now I go air mattress. Plus you actually gain room as you store it when not in use.

So on your block. You pulling it to build or getting a new block? No rush/downtime if you go new or used block.

Might want to check, but in most states if you are hit from behind. It is automatically the fault of the driver who hit the other from the rear.

Why buy a $6 gift when you can buy all the supplies and make it yourself for $90 and 6 hours of your time? ;)

All seriousness though, it is the thought that counts and those look awesome Ken.

Merry Christmas gents!

Looking good. There is lots of room in those side compartment areas too. Good for stashing odd things,,,,,,,,,

Saw a burb today with the 10.5. Saw 3 last week with US plates going a little fast up 80 near Sac also. Quite a few out there!

Hope she wasn't hurt, sorry about the xj though.

Are they paying market or BB for the XJ. My wifes Saturn was totaled and they tried to lobal us. I gave them current selling prices and we got double what they offered.

ammoseek is great as you get the lowest price possible listed from all. Just watch shipping.

2001 to 2010 should be the same.

Don't just discount the 9.5 though. They are a stout and have been used for Dmax conversions.

Just came back from Reno for an alone 2 days. No kids, no wife, no plans, just wanted to unwind. Sure felt good. Then the calls started on the way home as to when I would be home,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

The idea of some land up there sounds really good. I don't mind a little snow and can deal with the heat (both to a point) Already thinking about what I will need/want.

Finding a 14bt will be easy, finding one that fits a Sub will not. Most likely you will have to change all the mounts.

I see head gaskets, you doing the heads now? I would do bolts too.

Sure like my new LED headlights, got the NX version. Do need new lenses as the stockers are oxidizing on the inside.

Dang Dave, 4 years?

Heading up to Reno area tonite for a couple days. Return for summit to big to ship and wander around looking at stuff.
