I just got a 2X table for the Arcdroid. Allows you to cut 48in long items, but still just 16 wide.
Also a laser styles and corner/center finder.
Blackfriday on all their stuff, free shipping code is blackfriday until monday.
I got

Nice, I got the same bits for mine. Didn't need the 18in.

Heck, all I did was get new ground clamps for my mig and a plasma. The nice all brass ones, not bad at $17 each.
The amazon truck has its own "unloading" zone at my house. 5 users, but I am the best,,,,,,,,,

Watched a couple YTU videos on this thing. They came out in 1936. Mine is a 1969 unit, J head per the SN, but the head has a "123xxx" vs the knee "121xxx"
Table is 9x42, in very good shape, but a small chunk is missing from a slot near the end.
The cutter is a Sandvik and is 6in across. Missing a couple inserts and clamps. Search has started for stuff!

Nice, guards on the tilt rams.

I’ve only ever removed a head once and that was to get it rebuilt. It was a variable speed head not the v belt model. Imo the v belt are more desirable and less overall maintenance.

I almost took the head off. But just going 40 miles I decided not too. We rolled it across the floor on pipes (old alum hollow axles actually). Got it just high enough to get on the pallet jack I have and then it loaded easy. I should have brough better tie downs, but figured it was a short trip and all freeway (kali freeway, ouch). I set it down on two 4x4s I brought that made it pretty stable.
Big things are getting is in place and level, repairing all the wiring and good cleaning. Ways are way to stiff, but work. Lots of backlash, hope its simple and not new lead screws.
Garage is getting air run everyplace, and a few more plugs.

As stated, had to take the motor off to get into the garage. Pretty easy really.
Now the real fun starts. Had a bunch of collets (R8?) and cutting head. 6in brideport vise, that and the cutting head are worth the $500.

Not that I need more projects, but got this home today. Quite the ordeal, drop trailer, pallet jack, son and off we went.
Took about 3 hours to load/unload, drive was an hour each way. Had to take the motor off to get into my garage. Was 6 hours from picking up trailer to drop off.
Still doing research, but looks to be a late 60s, early 70s unit. 220v single phase, X,Y, Zaxis are powered, 110v.
The trailer pulled like its wheels were locked up, but it worked.

Off to the races again. Now for the doors so you don't have a wind tunel.

And you snuck a 53 and 64 in there too.

Still waiting to pickup. Guys daughter got real sick and at UCSF. Not pushing it but he said we are still a go.
I've been doing the same to mine Sam, never really finished the last cleanup. Now it looks like yours. I don't have too much stuff, just don't have places to store it all!
I sold my Langmuir for what I paid for it since I have the Arcdroid now. Plus they just came out with a X2 table allowing 48 long parts!
I did just make a deal for this wesco lift though, should pickup tomorrow..
We just scored a nice 3x7 wood bench for him and just finishing the RR on it (basically new wood top).

Love the DAM sign, land looks great but the barn needs doors.
Amazing what having a microwave does for you out there. I waited way to long to bring mine out.

Yeah, but they would need a body to ID her for that. Not going to happen,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Anyway, made a deal for a bridgeport mill today. Guy who bought my LS 5.3 had it. $500, single phase with power drives on X,Y and Z. Needs a little TLC, will post that all in the tool forum.

Yep, he looks like a mole. But hey, the supervisor can do as he wishes.
Good looking mill, good on the kubota, mine is a do all too. Front hydro is a must add on.

They were considered the largest wood supported structures in the world once. Guess there was only 1 left, the 2 were awesome to see. Watched many a 53 come in there flaring out about 50 ft off the deck. Base housing was at south end of the base, lived there for years. Father taught there and El Toro.

BedSlide is working awesome, still worth every penny after 2 rebuilds.
Think I found the parasitic draw on the battery. You could here the CD player running after the truck was shut off. Removed the CDs, now it seems good but time will tell. Maybe I should clean some grounds since most have not been touched in 17 years now.

Another trip in the books. Good to be back on it.
Just did lots of organizing, dropped off the compactor and the repaired ram for Dug. Ran out of daylight and energy on this trip.
Did manage to repair the Kubota's brush guard. Had a bend that has been bugging me and I want to put a flood light down there, 16in fits just right. Used a new vevor porta power. Had the right adapters to do the job.
Filled up the Dmax for way less than Kali prices. With the big tank and being the daily anymore I hardy ever need to top off down here.

Couldn't agree more. I see LBZ engines all the time on FB. Might have to pull the trigger, but figure I have a good 100k left in mine.

Heck, my lot is 9500sf. Yes gov wants to be into everything and know all about you/me.
Good luck on the tax issue, sure it will be fine. You already do hay and want to add a few cattle right?

Looks like it might be a home made unit, but solid.
Was the stone orange?
Did you figure out water? I know there was a well, is it viable? Drop a couple pipes to the bottom, fill with rocks.

Found one on FB for 750, just need to weld a mount on it, 100 bucks.

Dang, 3 years since I posted on the thread.
Repairing the tilt ram my neigbor popped last year after the "flood". Rear right tire still goes done, but holds a seal so not and issue at all yet. Starts like a champ too.
Ram is apart, cleaned up and just 2 seals to go. Damage was obvious. Couple of burrs on the piston, cleaned it and the rod with 1000 sand paper. (lathes are nice)
38mm nut was a chore, cap was easy (set screw) Should finish it up tomorrow.

Funny, I sold my box blade, just didn't work well (maybe it was me)
Looking a dozer blade for the skid, just needs a mount.

TRN, is that weight or caliber?

Sounds like a solid plan for a start. (oh, I linked this to part 7)
I have decided another dump trailer is in the near future. Talking to the nieghbor, hauling costs as much if not more to where we are. We have a quarry just down the road so a load here and there is just the ticket.
Wind never seems to be a friend. I like a little breeze.

Think I got the last major part for this, not that I'm in a hurry right now.
Got a Ron Bonny front engine mount/crossover. Solid weld in unit that allows the pan to be dropped without pulling the engine if need be. Popped up on FB in Reno, got for about 1/2 retail.
